Are you referring to WLs who are the size of a water boiler?
Old Boilers usually refer to women beyond their use by date ( child bearing date) although these days it seems to mean anything that is too old and ugly to shag.
Interesting old boiler chickens were those that had to be boiled to make them tender and easier to digest.
For some reason I tend to equate old boilers with mature PRC's in Bris.
