Absolutely not. Everything is do darn expensive these days.Best I would do is at allow restaurant to keep the change if paying in cash next to the nearest $5 and that's only if had an exceptional time.

So when you are always given your regular favourite table with the best view or location in the place it doesn’t deserve some reciprocal generosity? Or when the waiter comes out with your favourite drink without asking?

Bit like a WL walking straight up with a welcoming DFK followed by a BBBJ the moment she enters the room.

In both occasions they know what you want and are happy to give it without hesitation.
