Never get your car serviced by Mercedes dealerships, it's marked up.
I've been going here for years saving an average of $400 to $500 a service. Even the break pads/rotor change was much cheaper than the dealership.

Thanks for the information, I’ve never had a problem with the dealership, and everything always comes back 100%, a relative went to a third party Mercedes Benz mechanic at Seven hills to do the brakes and rotors but they felt the drive was never the same, and even I could tell the car came back different

Just had my car serviced for registration renewal

Reputable place. Charged me $320
Took over an hour to service the car, car got well cared for with oil change, filter change, new windscreen wipers, brakes check, the usual service
Given a 10 point service summary and they washed the windscreen for nothing

The brothel down the road wants $300+ with no 10 point check receipt afterward

If you are being charged for your own service as much as for a car service, do you also expect a reasonable body tune up (if you know what I mean) for that amount of money, or do you just care more and pay more for your car to be treated well ?

I would hate to pay that type of money and get treated less well then my car

I usually tell my mechanic not to look for a problem unless it bothers me

Just go to a tyreshop that specialises in your car.
I have guys that do euro cars. They’re pro’s. Rim repairs, how often do they get damaged?

Haven’t been there for years. Last time I was there someone tried taking a 911 I had parked in the laneway out the back. Had to get it towed.

They were keen. I’ll give them that. What I didn’t like was the damage caused getting into the car.
That and the fact the insurance company fucked me around for something that wasn’t even my fault.

If the car is still under warranty it needs to be serviced by a licenced mechanic, not necessarily a dealer.

Never had a car under warranty, don't see the value in it.

Yep, been there done that. I can rebuild anything from mechanical to electronics, reverse engineer software, numerous other things. etc. I barely have enough time to punt.

If we all met in person, that would eliminate 80% of the rude manners people have on a forum, that they would never practice face to face. Criticising people is easy as a keyboard warrior

Ahh vincent, I'm just a simple Bankstown boy. I don't want what you have or need what you do, I've lived my whole life making do with what I make. Sorry I couldn't join you for lunch yesterday but I was having a great time at he beach with my kids and didn't see your post, that happens when you have a life outside of a punting forum this or any other one. As for your ginza offer I'm sorry but I'll have to decline that as well.
