Reception asks: "Have you seen her before?". What do you say?

I recently saw a thread saying you should tell reception that you've seen the girl before even if not true because sometimes they may bait and switch.

How likely is this to happen? Even for a booking?

I’d answer, “yes, as long as she looks like her photo on your website.”
That riddle reply might confuse someone with an average intelligence.
