A bit contributor to sexless marriages is hormones. If you google testosterone levels for men and estrogen levels for women, it varies greatly by age. Mens testoterone does not experience a dramatic dip. Its a slow tapering after 40-50s and even during 60s, its still there. A womans hormone levels drops like a rock after 40.
