I doubt many girls at ginza are here to pay off host club debts. I know it's a "thing" especially for shitty internet "media" companies but it's not an epidemic.

Of course no one's ever done a RCT or research behind this so I cannot give you statistical data.

But last time I went Japan, every girl I met working in the sex industry was doing it to pay off host club debts. And intel I got now, most are still host club related debts.
