ABK London is another girl who went from GE to No.5, went from size 5 to size 6, all other stats the same. So maybe it’s just difference in how the shop list sizing.
Technically there is no such thing as a size 5 or any other odd number in Australia for women's sizes.
The sizes go 4 6 8 10 12 14 etc.
But some girls are in between a 4 and a 6 so at Ginza they say they are a size 5.
Anyway dress size only gives you are very rough idea of a girls size because there are so many variables like height, weight, bust, waist, hips, bum, legs etc.
And to make things really confusing every country has a different system of sizes.
I think when the shops write down the girls size they just ask the girl and take her word for it or they have a look at her and take a guess. Either way it's not an exact science. LOL!
