I'd never keep the same girl for a week, especially if you're only there for 2 weeks, just too many other girls. There's an unwritten "3 day rule", things can start to become difficult then, so a lot of guys swear by it and move on even if they like the girl. A - you don't want to like her TOO much, she's a bar girl, and relationships / sponsorships are a recipe for financial and emotional disaster. B - you will also probably notice the girls service / enthusiasm will start to deteriorate the longer you're with her. I'd prescribe a different girl each night in these two places.
As for a night, I mentioned before for a go-go stunner (especially in low season), you should have a ceiling of 2K ST and 3K LT. Thai business practice indicates they will try to RAISE prices in quiet times to compensate for the lower volume, so you may be quoted higher (especially if the girl smells you as a noob). I hesitated to put too much info about prices before to avoid a "wall of text", once I get started on LOS I find it hard to stop ..... and really you need to find the method that works best for YOU. But as it's now been raised, I'll offer some tips, followed by what works for me as an average looking guy in his early-mid 30's:
* Don't ever tell them it is your first trip. Tell them you've been a few times before so they are more likely to think you know the score
* Always smile, have fun, and be polite. You won't win an argument, and you certainly won't win a fight. Even if you get ripped off, smile, pay, walk away and learn from it
* Always negotiate directly with the girl for her fee
* Mamasans / waitresses can be a great help if you build a rapport with them, and can act as translators if your girl doesn't speak much English. But do not let them set the price for you, some now march around with pre-printed "price-lists" which are rubbish, and do not EVER pay the girls fee in advance to the bar. Some will hit you up for it, smile, laugh and say "No, I pay bar fine now, pay girl later". That will be the end of it
* Pay the girl direct, AFTER the deed. It is standard practice, gives the girl an incentive to perform, and means your chances of a "runner" (LT becoming ST) are minimised
* Avoid super-pushy requests for lady-drinks. A girl sitting with you deserves them for her time, but her "friends" or the waitresses can take the piss and milk you for them
* If you're interested / interviewing a girl over a LD, get down to business and ask the things that are important to YOU before ordering her a second one. It sucks spending an hour in a place, buying a girl 4 or 5 LD's, and THEN finding out she's on her period / is a "coyote" (no BF) / doesn't "smoke" / has ridiculous demands
* If go-go hopping, don't feel like you HAVE to be seated and order a drink in every bar. I learned from watching the Japs, sometimes they storm in, do a lap to look at the girls, then march right back out again if nothing takes their fancy. It also sucks walking into a bar, immediately being directed to a seat and having a menu shoved in your face, only to order a beer, look up and see the stage is filled with dogs. You waste baht, get drunk quicker, and more importantly waste TIME
* Theme of last two points, TIME is your most valuable commodity in Thailand, not your money. Make the most of it, and don't waste it
* Baccara on Soi Cowboy is the "motherload" in BKK. But the girls are very Japanese-oriented, so see my other post (other thread) about seating tactics. And don't forget to look UP at the ceiling
* Rainbow 4 at NEP is also Japanese-oriented. Be aggressive, and get a waitress to call down the girl you like. Bars like this see "farang" at a disadvantage, white guys like me are over-looked by the girls, hard to get eye-contact. Japs / Koreans tend to pay more, and mainly do ST so the girls can get back to the bar and find another customer
* Hit as many places as possible on the first night, take notes of girls that take your fancy. Will make it easier for future nights if you have a list of "go to" bars, and the names / numbers of the hot girls in there
NOW, here's what I do specifically. Just FYI, again, you should try and work out what methods work best for you:
Places that are heaving, I get the mama / waitresses on side. Shout them a LD or two, they will look after you and make it easier to return and BF from there again. Pon, the mama upstairs at Mandarin, is the best in the business.
Towards the end of the first LD, I'll go through my "checklist" of questions, always starting with:
* "So, do you go with customers LT, or only ST??". The correct answer is "Up to you", that means she's open to LT. If that's the case, I do not mention her fee, just pay up and take her back to the room before slipping her the money the next day. I've never had a complaint when paying 2.5K, but will go to 3K if VERY satisfied and she's still there at 3pm-4pm next day
* If SHE raises it, or mentions a high figure herself (4K is HIGH), I will smile, laugh and say "I usually pay 2.5K LT but", "if you're good / because I like you", "I will pay you 3K LT" ....... you should not be refused. If you are refused and she holds her ground at 4K, she's been spoiled by the over-spenders, and will likely be a dud root anyways. Girls like that don't NEED to perform, they're hot enough to get picked every night anyways
* I also always then ask "What time do you have to leave tomorrow??". LT on it's own is a very loose concept, you prob want her to stay and fuck all day, she prob wants a quick round at 6am and then to be out the door. If it's important to you, you should clarify it before-hand, you have nothing to lose by asking and can only avoid disappointment. If she has to leave early, you're free to pay less or negotiate a different fee.
* If she says she ONLY does ST, you have a decision to make. Either move on and find a girl who will go LT, or decide to proceed with her ST. If proceeding, I also clarify what she wants money-wise, which is usually 2K. If she won't budge to 1.5K, I'll agree to 2K BUT stipulate I want 2 shots. To the girl, ST = blow and go. I hate that type of rushed session, so some nights am happy for a 2-round ST for 2K, then having the bed to myself in order to get a solid nights sleep.
* Always "hooker-proof" the room BEFORE going out. Girls from bars are usually honest, they don't want complaints to the mama, but still don't take chances. So anything of value is already locked away in the room-safe, or in my main padlocked luggage (the key to that padlock is itself in the room-safe!!).
* Upon returning to the room, the girl showers first. This gives you a spare minute to throw your wallet / phone into the room safe too, and then you're free to jump in and join her.
* Part of the "hooker-proofing" involves me leaving 3K in the very front of the safe, in 2 x 1,000 and 2 x 500 baht denominations. When it's time for her to go, you open up the safe and grab just that 3K ..... no reaching for your huge pile of exchanged baht, and so it's piss easy to adjust her fee accordingly. i.e. some girls WILL promise LT, will tell you they'll stay until midday, but then get a 6am "emergency call" and try to bail. If that's the case, smile, but say "that's not LT, so now I will give you x" and hand it to her. No negotiation, she'll likely take it and leave without incident, but that's the benefit of having the 2 x 500 notes handy ..... you can easily give her 1,500 or 2,500 if that's what you deem more reasonable. If she pulls a "blow and go ST" runner that you think is worth 1,500, there's no chance you can give her 2K and ask for 500 baht change ...... lol
* Negotiations should also include any special requests. In maybe 50 BF's I've had ONE girl who wouldn't suck (they call it "smoke"), she was Cambo, not Thai. Only ONE other Thai who insisted on CBJ, but still finished me off BBBJCIM in the morning when her period hit mid-fuck. So I usually assume this, safely, but ask if you wanna be certain.
* If there's a bunch of girls in the same bar you like, and you're already thinking about fucking others, tell the one you're with that you're a "butterfly". Girls can be possessive, and suffer a loss of face if you return to their bar and try to BF a different girl. Best to have her under no illusions and expecting anything more than tonight's "shift".
* Stay in a "girl friendly" hotel, and preferably one that checks in and logs the girls ID. Do not be embarrassed about this, it is for YOUR benefit. A - in case there is a theft from your room. B - more importantly, in case the ID is fake and the girl is underage. It would be MUCH better to find out at your hotel reception, as opposed to once in the room when the BiB (Thai Police) storm in, and condemn you to a life of eating fish-head soup in the Bangkok Hilton.
* Stuff like that is rare, but does happen. Remember, "If in doubt, don't find out". I've bought LD's for sweet young things, but been curious about their legality. Asked for their ID because my hotel will check it and been told "Not have ID, but it's OK, we just go to ST hotel instead" ..... that's a fucking HUGE red flag. Sorry honey, check bin, out of there and into the next bar pronto.
EDIT: one last point, in relation to my above tactics ....
* I'm usually paying the BF between the hours of midnight and 2am (when NEP closes). In my experience, girls are more open to LT at that time, as there's less chance they can finish with me and then get back to the bar to snag another customer. The downside is, obviously, that some of the hotter girls have already been taken out for the night ..... so just bear that in mind, you may opt to pay more than 3K LT if you're bar-fining a Baccara stunner at 8pm. I also regularly pay less than 3K if I'm paying BF just before 2am, but the girl tells me she has to leave at 6am. There are a stack of variables!!
Hopefully that's enough advice for today!! Enjoy mate, I'm super-jealous, next trip just can't come fast enough .....
