Shops we never hear about: Pure Massage (Nth Syd) & Upmarket Bathhouse (Crows Nest)

I am just curious why some shops I frequented for many years until COVID hit us are never mentioned on this forum, while Ginza and similar are being talked about every day.

Two are Pure Massage in North Sydney and Upmarket Bathhouse in Crows Nest.

Is it because their prices are high for a massage?

Any comments will be appreciated. As I said, I am simply curious.

P.S. in the old days, over some 15 years, I must have spent a fortune at Upmarket Bathhouse, probably more than the price of a new BMW or two.

I haven't been there for a long time, but part 3 was always on offer. And yes, fully Thai. I know Jessie from SBM works there a few days a week. I'd be more inclined to go if they published rosters and descriptions.

I've thought about going to Upmarket before but like you've mentioned the price is definitely higher than other places and since I haven't seen recent reviews for it, have chosen to not go for now.

I'm also usually around the area on Sunday, the one day they're closed.

Pure Message website says: "Extra full service starts from $60."

I guess, 1 hour $160 + $60 = $220. No idea if it is FS or B2B or whatever. Mind you, "full service" usually means FS.

Pure massage is ok. They're also very transparent with their full service prices. It's all printed and put in every room.

The upfront cost is more expensive but it covers the nude massage and happy ending. They literally immediately take off their clothes. No negotiations required. I like that sort of model.

It's a decent place for a punt but not blow your mind good. Go there if you're horny.

I usually see Lucy who gives a pretty good hard deep tissue massage and $100 for extra CFS. No DFK. Few young girls in the roster and a few older ones too. I haven’t seen the line up since 2-3 months ago as I have been going to 227 and Tokyo Studio instead. They don’t publish rosters so I usually give them a call before making a booking. Most of the time the girls give good service. That’s why we call it punting - I don’t mind trying the new girls without an AR over at pure massage. I simply won’t come back to the girl if her service isn’t right for me.

I like it because it’s clean and the girls are quite young and attractive lately. Sorry, I don’t generally give too many ARs. I recommend Natalie, Lucy, Yasmin. Actually the last time I spoke with the owner the business is not doing too well.

Lineup is almost always Thai. Been going to this place since 2017?

Whilst I've never been, I always found Pure Massage to have an odd location. The entrance is right next door to a legit massage shop. But it seems like a low foot traffic area since there is nothing else on that side.
I believe the building is itself is up for sale, attached to the former HSBC on the corner which has been vacated for quite a while now. It was funny how the real estate information straight up states that there is a massage shop operating as a brothel!

Bliss on Crown is another one that comes to mind. Girls there are pretty damn hot. bit of something for everybody there.
Prices are higher than normal, everyone may have a different opinion if its worth it for them so I wont comment on that besides saying that I did not feel ripped off at all every time ive gone there

Upmarket bathouse I used to frequent a year or two ago. Probably visited it twice a month at least. It was when I can’t decide where to go and in need a very good punt - there was this young redhead that I saw regularly, Ivy. Very good and very accomodating.
They’ve had an increase in their prices last year so kinda hard to justify forking the total amount for FS. Plus yea, Asian persuasion all the way.

Great topic. I often wonder this, I have been to the FS shop at Wahroonga, never gets a mention. Hornsby Massage is possibly the best RnT around. Very stable shop, always seems busy but almost no mention here. These are affordable shops with great service largely thanks to strong owners who set a standard of service & train the girls well on men’s needs.
