533 takes a special kind of bravery to walk in, let alone walk out 💪💪💪
Forget slinking and sneaking into discreet locations (https://www.aus99forum.com/showthrea...creet-location), which venues allow a punter to stand proud and true, sans face mask, flaunting their interests and hobbies?
For mine, there are 2.
It’s either coming down the stairs at 533 Willoughby, to a busy main road and a bus stop potentially full of waiting passengers, just 200m from a very busy girls school.
Or Bellevue 12, waiting, standing on the high side of the road after pressing the buzzer, just up from a very busy pub on Foveaux St

533 bus stop didn’t really bother me but once I got cheered at by people at the pub opposite. I was going to wait at the lights to cross but when that happened I walked up the road instead. From memory that was the last time I went there,2018 I think.
41 Epping must be up there
The old 5 star with the pub opposite and seating on footpath.....
Skyden Massage Waitara. Close enough to the intersection so there's always cars stopped outside waiting on the lights. And depending on what time of the day it is, you've got Uber drivers collecting food from the restaurants above or school kids walking to or from Waitara station.
All the shops along the Hampten rd in Artarmon are pretty non-discreet too, especially if a train is waiting on the platform. Perhaps not the most as you're somewhat hidden from the awnings but still.
lmaoooo @ "a bus stop potentially full of waiting passengers, just 200m from a very busy girls school."
hmmm i think Sakura and Kyoto front entrance during the day esp on weekends or lunch times when that pub is packed. No42 can be quite awkward too during the day when u enter via front entrance - give that a try if u wanna stand proud and true mate
Royal Garden Massage in Granville - it's right next to El Jannah with no back entrance.
My nomination goes to the Thai joint at 1223 Botany Road, Mascot. Front entry only, smack bang in front of a fucken busy bus stop and a set of traffic lights, and with a packed cafe directly next door with customers practically spilling onto the path of the front door.
Pennys77 on Enmore Road. Nothing like a street full of cafes and restaurants giving you the side eye as you go up to do business.
10 Regent St Kogarah. Front entrance is on a main road. Back entrance is on another busy road as well. Worst part of the rear entrance is there are bus stops on both sides of the road, it faces one of the main entrances to the shopping centre and if you're timing is wrong, you'll see school kids walking past from the school that is pretty much next door. In this case, the front entrance is likely to be more discreet.
Just get a walking stick, some pensioner sunnies that you buy from the servo and wear those grey slip on shoes and if anyone says anything tell them you’re “going there for therapy”. Dribble a bit and ask which way to the bus stop if stared at.
Vixens 271. Absolute shitshow. Very busy road, insane foot traffic, against a liquorland, no back door, in front of a pedestrian crossing which is ALWAYS being used so therefore cars are backed up. Proper shit show, unless you go at 12am + it is only for the brave of heart. Not to mention, there is nothing in there worth the hardship.
Bellevue 12 is pretty fucking annoying. Especially considering they don’t have a buzzer to unlock the door, you need to wait for the trudging footsteps of a WL to manually open the door and let you in. That 5-10 secs can feel like an eternity in the cold light of day.
I wish they had a back exit too… I’ve only been allowed an escape through the garage one time. Other than that I always leave through the no 10 door on the other side of the premises as it takes the heat off just slightly.. still tho IYKYK
