Question about longer bookings (more than 1 hour)
Hey fellas - Sorry if i've posted this in the wrong place, I couldn't find where else to post it.
I was recently in a FS club (not a massage place) and instead of booking for the typical 1 hour, I decide to do 1 and a half hours to really take my time. This was my first time doing anything more than 1 hour.
Now I understand clubs charging more PER MINUTE for shorter sessions (ie usually 30 mins $190, 60 mins only $110 more for $300). However I was surprised when I was told an hour and a half would cost me the normal $300 for the hour, plus another $190 for the additional half hour for $490 total. So I basically ended up paying more PER MINUTE for 90 mins (490 ÷ 90 = 5.4 per minute), than for only 60 mins (300 ÷ 60 = 5 per minute).
My question is, is this the standard way that sessions longer than 1 hour are charged? I would've thought that I'd be paying the same amount per minute for 90 mins as 60 mins (300 + 110 for $410), or at the very least somewhere closer to $410 rather than $490.
Any advice is appreciated. cheers
