It was going down for the past week. Last few days seem to be ok
Recently I'm have ongoing connection issues with aus99 site when using data.
Other sites, Ginza etc and other unrelated to punting sites all connect quickly, so doesn't appear to be my service generally....
Anyone else??

Occasionally when I put into Google search “aus99forum” Google will come back with “unusually high traffic detected from your ip address” and then asks me to click a box to validate I’m not a robot.
Only on this site though.
It occasionally asks me to access aus99forum via Google log in too, which I don’t have. I’ve been wondering if this has anything to do with the new government rollout and they’re beta testing already?
I won’t be logging into any site where I have to give my details and if that’s how it’s going to be here then it’s adios…

When I'm out using 5g the website is extremely slow and quite often won't connect at all.
At the same time other sites are very responsive!
I've found it "freezing" on my PC occasionally.
Also recently when trying to post an AR it would come up with a strange message saying something like "not authorised for this", so I woould back off & try again. Eventually got there but very frustrating...

Can't believe how old the forum is, why not upgrade to a new version

Depending on the experience of the administrators/moderators with updating old forum software, this can create more problems than solutions a lot of the time. Especially considering forums tend to be run by people on a mostly volunteer basis with ads making supplementing the server costs and whatnot. If something gets so busted as a result of an update it may actually be one of those things where the people in any position to do about it probably would put fixing it in a too hard basket.
Been fine for me past few days , but I barely use the full website view only for the search function
You can always tell those that have root, and those who haven't... Obviously, you're one of the former.
