Where do you people punt? With whom? Punters afraid she'll put the hoo-doo voo-doo spell on them? Putting your financial health at risk every time you walk into a shop? Myself, I always carry a condom, most of the time, use. For my wallet, its condom is COMMON SENSE and EXPERIENCE (kind of like a condom with spermicide).

Without a doubt, that's what I'm paying for. Been to Disneyland many times. And I'm old enough to say, "She's most definitely an e-ticket ride". But I also know that the Princess is just an actress (again showing my age).
Regulars? Why I have the same barber, dentist, doctor; I trust them to deliver excellent service for a fair price. Same with restaurants and bars. I have my regular for each. In both, it's Cheers. I don't have to say a thing; walk in, make eye contact, slight nod, and my order is brought, just the way I like it.
Certainly venture out scouting, always looking for another starting pitcher. You never know when your team roster will be depleted. But it's just nice not having to start from zero, having some history...
Power imbalance?
I just treat her as an equal. I'm straight with her, she's straight with me. Example:
I recently had a previous regular message me. Hadn't seen her for several years, but I'll occasionally get the "how are you?" (translation: BOTG?, come see me) message. She was direct: business down, shop closed, short of money, could I help?
Understand business slack: BKK in July, well, that's a pass for me. Shop closed? That was a surprise, but a quick check and it shouldn't have been, given the development of Suk over the past 30 years. Surprised 24/1 lasted as long as it did. So with those two, understood "short".
I had some empathy, but then, perhaps unlike many here, I've worked "at will" jobs. Plenty of projects. And when you know the project is ending, you start reaching out. First to close associates. Then, as the end date nears, further and further, up to and including someone you've passed in the hallway once or twice.
I didn't take offense, bleat scam, gold digger... Understood desperation, a hail Mary. She was straight with me; I was straight with her. Sorry, cannot. And I explained why. Didn't have to explain, but she respected me, I respected her. Wished her good luck, she said thanks, come see her when I'm next BOTG.

Easy, they have very little experience with women so everything is "real" and "special" to them. They think women in the industry are the same as civilians. I barely listen to the BS that women rattle off, and when I do I'm reading between the lines to find what the angle is. Regulars? We’ve all got them and I'm as guilty as the next bloke; same barber, same dentist, same doctor, same accountant, same mechanic. But here’s the thing: we don’t fall in love with them, we don’t tip or pay them more than their standard rate, and we sure as hell don’t give them sexy lingerie, flowers, jewellery, perfumes, dildos, chocolates, Gucci handbag…nor do we blow up their phone every day with “hey baby how are you” or “sweet dreams darling" or “love you” or “thinking of you” on endless repeat.
Moral of the story? Have regulars, just don't fall in love with them. And if you insist on showering your regular with tips and expensive and luxurious gifts then cough up the same for your barber, doctor, accountant, and mechanic too......it's only fair
Imagine how fucked up this story would be if a punter went and saw his 'regular' bank manager or 'regular' accountant, and they come up with a convincing sob story, and then the punter transfers 10k into their account.

Agreed. Like I said, it's BUSINESS. Pay an agreed upon fee for an agreed upon service. Now, I have bought a girl a small birthday cake on her birthday while she was LT, I know what it's like to be away from home and friends while an expat. We shared it. While home, I've bought some t-shirts to give to regulars on my return; NOT designer, just some local store logos to give as gifts to regulars on my return from vacation (more than likely made in their home country but it's the thought that counts). In return, I've received some nice tea, and one gave me a nice tea-set (looks very nice, but those small teacups, not something I'd use, but nice to put on a shelf).
Likewise, I've picked up some Hard Rock shot glasses for my barber - he collects them.

Yep, it’s the deep dark dingy and often times murky world of secret men’s business that I’ve been drawn into.

I already mentioned on page 7 of this thread. She hasn't been at SP for a long time but continued the scamming even while pregnant and even used her baby as fodder for it.
It's been eye opening trading notes with others in the same position.

Jessie is a nice person and not surprised this ML took advantage of her given their close relationship. I've had some dealings with Jessie and the ML in question even tried to take advantage of that.

I wouldnt be surprised if it was this ML who was the one that coached them how to do it as when these other girls ran the scam, this ML was working as the reception and waxing there when she was pregnant.
