Hello fellow punters,

Tried the new shop in new farm - pretty average!

Two boilers and one mid to late twenties awkward Aussie. Massage was good, but nothing else was!!!

Won’t return here again

I think we should be more understanding with the new shop and give the owner some time and opportunities to make adjustments.

Never been to their Mary shop one so can’t comment. It’s a brand new shop and they have showers but not in the room itself.

Shop was very well presented and the rooms are big but if the service is poor this means nothing

Golden time massage is the name. They post daily rosters as well in their wechat.

A new shop opened on Wickham St this week: Velvet Touch. When I visited, there was one Aussie girl and one Asian girl on shift. I was told there are three on the roster, with more expected soon. The shower isn’t working just yet.

Layla, the Aussie came across as fairly easy going, the type you’d grab a beer with. She’s around 5'2", on the curvier side, pretty good rack. Bianca was a bit taller and slimmer, more a porcelain look. Didn’t get to meet Jennie, but from the photos I’d guess she’s shorter. Layla didn’t say much about the shower, just that they were still doing the finishing touches on the place since they’d only opened on Monday.

I called into Golden Time in Newfarm a few weeks ago in early evening. Was just wanting a look at the new shop and maybe a quick chat with manager Sunny. I have not seen Sunny or visited Time Massage in Mary street for 18 mths. During the day Time used to get very busy on the street outside due to construction so can be hard to walk in unseen sometimes.

Sunny had not started her shift at Newfarm and I spoke with ML (I think was Wendy from Nth Korea) who was just finishing her first shift there. Very friendly and chatty. Late 20Â’s and has just moved here from Sydney. If she was not finishing for the night I might have booked her then and there. I didn't want to wait the 30 mins for Sunny to arrive so canÂ’t comment on the services. But I was shown the room - nice and clean and new and private.

I used to see Sunny at Time and she was always happy to guide me towards a quality ML for the service - or on occasions very nice session with Sunny herself. I always enjoyed my time with her. YMMV.

My all time favourite ML works at Time at least one day a week but also works at two (or more) other well known and well respected places around Brisbane, which is where I visit her. Not sure why but this ML uses a different name at each place - unusual as she is very good and I am sure she would/will grow a loyal following. But again YMMV.

My point being that just walking into any shop can be hit and miss - better to do some research on whoÂ’s working. My experiences at Time were always very good - but I felt like I got A class service as i was a regular there so didnÂ’t have any duds pushed on me. So I wouldn't write off the Newfarm shop just yet as the staff seem to move around these shops.

I used to be a regular at a popular one in the valley (I had a recent post of them going down the drain). Despite my many visits over the last two years (50+ visits), the owner of the shop in recent times has passed on nothing but duds to me.

It shows their lack of care for returning customers, which appears not be with the Time chain of shops.

I tried to do a punt at the new farm shop on Friday late evening and asked for a particular girl from their ad. Got there and the girl looked nothing like her photos so I walked. The owner followed up with a text message to check if everything was ok and did I walk because she was rude to me. I replied back said that the photos were not her and it was dealbreaker for me - she understood and responded back very kindly. That’s the type of owners you want - especially if you are semi regular/regular customers.

Kudos to her/him - sorry not sure who the owner is.
