Go take something of value to a pawn shop and leave it as collateral in exchange for a cash loan.

I am friendly enough with some WLs to transfer the money and they give me cash....they generally have plenty of it. I would just say a lent my Chinese/ Asian friend at work some cash until pay day or something like that. But yeah, having a separate account is definitely the way to go.

Always one of those things where if it isn't your partner asking the questions, it's the bank, and if its not the bank, its the ATO.

I just withdraw in bulk every now and then, serves as a good budget tracker and can be used on smaller businesses or marketplace.

I'm allowed to blow $300 a month on the pokies, that night determines my next punt.

Why do men feel like they have to tell their partner what they’re doing with their money??? It’s your money and you do what you want with it. Your “woman” does not need to know anything about your money.

Let’s face it MOST women sponge off men anyway so they should be thankful for the handout and keep their greedy prying eyes away from men’s bank accounts.

You give them a credit card so they can “drain you” and leave it at that. The rest of your money is none of their business.

I think its easier for tradies. A couple I know do work for cash, not sure if they use a portion of it for punting but they could easily tell the partner they got paid 500 when in reality they got 800. Still not a huge amount to play with but I guess its possible.

Cash has always been King for me. While I do the usual "Tap n Go" transactions occasionally, I prefer cash most of the time.

Each fortnight (payweek) I get a a fairly large sum from an ATM & keep in my safe at home to use as I need it. Works for me...

We have a joint account for the majority of bills. I put $300 a week into it for "housekeeping". I pay the mortgage and home insurance from my account. My awesome boss pays me any overtime in cash. I also buy and sell bicycle parts and do bicycle repairs for cash. We have a "purple bin" system in Southern Sydney. $60 to get setup and then they do the return and earn for you, not a big earner but it all helps. I am always scrounging for extra dollars.

Hi there, just in case you are not aware, they are not talking about just a partner or girl friend, but the wives they are married to, with whom you share the house, the kids and everything you own, whether she has contributed into that or not, it's the law and how family life is build around. the Mrs has every right to check on the joint account and check your credit card statement etc. whether she does it or not is a different story.

    Cheers

I grew up poor so I established early on id always have a few hundred on me in cash at all times. If it ever spiked like when my son made a comment once I had like 500 on me I'd jokingly say it's my cocaine and hookers money. All lies have an element of the truth and since I don't do blow.... I was admitting what it is just they thought I was kidding

How to get it in ways that don’t raise eyebrows, when 99% of all transactions are done with card and has become the norm

What law says your Mrs has the right to check
your bank account? Hell would have to freeze over before I let any woman know anything about me. They’re all greedy, money hungry and even if she is Miss World she’s seeing nothing.

You go out to dinner with a group of friends then get them to give you the cash and you put it on your credit card. I don’t do this but saw it happen recently.
