In terms of dating, in terms of p4p and focusing on looks + value for money for European dudes in their mid 30s.

I spent the last 6 months in Bangkok and it was awesome, but honestly, the girls in the p4p scene aren't that great looking unless you go high end - and at those prices, you may as well punt in Sydney.

Dating there was better than punting tbh.

In the past year I've spent two months in Vietnam, as well as two trips to Philippines. The prior year two trips to Thailand, two to Philippines and then over the past 15 years many other Asian countries.

Philippines is the heavy lifter for me as I am older than you. I have a good game in Philippines and find my way to 8 & 9s. Many also fall below that.

BUT

As a mid-30's guy I would suggest you consider Ho Chi Minh City. The women are beautiful and take pride in being beautiful. Many will be gym regulars and maintaining fulltime career jobs. (Unlike Ph where girls often see a foreigner as a chance to retire!)

The girls that do work in P4P are often very beautiful and just doing it to get through university.

Vietnam does take a bit of setup though. Building FB connections, joining groups and activities. participating and believing in what they are doing as a country.

I would suggest an AirBNB in District 2. Thao Dien area has lots of good restaurants and activities but also sends a message to girls you are not a tourist. Also the viet girls mixing in Thao Dien D2 area will be targeting foreigner relationships and usually have better english skills. They are motivated to meet a foreigner.

Viet girls are incredibility easy to meet in spite of what you read on line. Will they bed you on first date, unlikely. I was able to fit in 2 'first' dates in an evening knowing that noting will happen that time. It's easy to meet a first date at 6 then have a better change with the second or third meeting of another girl at 8pm.

The P4P scene is rampant in HCMC. You can quickly build up your preference for spa joints, drink joints, take away or swing by BBBJ joints.

Did I mention how beautiful the girls are in HCMC? And they like to present themselves well.

Even me as an old fart happily get offers to meet from the 26-28 yo female members of facebook groups. Sure the girls will say they just want to meet and practice english, which is totally true. They also want to know if I am a safe option for when they need money. I met her three times for coffee before she made this offer which excited me. The first girls offer was VND10M per month allowance (AUD600 per month) and she would visit three times per week. Viet girls are all business and they can make a clear distinction between sex for love and sex for money.

So my vote, go base yourself in Vietnam. Get a multi-entry visa.

You might like to explore other regional cities but IMO it's Saigon that will be the sweet spot with occasional weeks in Vung Tau.
