I'm only familiar with 60 minutes pricing. That ole $90/hour has been around since at least 2023, so really a $10 increase not unexpected. IMO (no humble), still reasonable for the facilities (e.g. the en-suite 3/4 bath), clean rooms, furnishings. That plus the tenured staff plus guest lecturers is, for me, the location of choice (as long as my provider choice works there sometimes).

in my limited experience of some 'erotic massage' places the ML is really just trying to upsell extra services (mainly full service).
in the moment i am tempted to pay the extra, and sometimes i do, but it's not what i am there for.
I was there today ,yep $100 BUT I am still happy with that. Big rooms with Shower & toilet & air con. I have only had 1 booking in last 18 mths mucked up & had to wait 30 mins. Plus I book directly with my M/L .
Compare to MAC now $85 ordinary room ,1 shower ,1 toilet ,walk down hall & usually have to wait .AND then having to deal with Angela always messaging ,changing times etc etc.

There is no doubt that a shower in the room is worth paying a bit extra for (or not in the case of SGM in Wooloomooloo).
What keeps punters going back to places like MaC is the girls. Angela manages to find some gems who are enthusiastic - the two new Taiwanese girls are great examples.
All of us have experienced the robotic services which are so common at places like Newtown Massage, and yet they remain in business.
Why? We all like a punt!

No affiliation with Summerville except as a satisfied customer. Just like my criteria for hotels: clean sheets, hot water, attentive staff... Even though I've showered before arriving, with the in-room shower, so easy to shower again out of respect for the ladies. Given the cleanliness of the shower, no need to pack shower shoes or a towel. In-room toilet a plus; don't get old. And having an in-room shower for a final douche to remove the oil and "scents" appreciated. Plus, showing respect for my fellow clients, knowing she has had a shower herself post assignation (guess the holiday cheer hasn't completely worn off).
Recall reading where some have said they'd had problems with Summer, she's rude, but I don't find that to be the case. Give respect, get respect, and I'm not a time-waster lookie-lou. She knows me, remembers me and what I like, and will offer advice, both plus ("you should see ___") and minus ("If you want to see ___, but you might like ____ more"), advice for MY benefit.
Though I might dribble on occasion, I don't dabble; I take "flying" seriously so usually fly "first class". Just have my preferred "airlines". And don't call me Shirley...
Only time I fly economy, I book with those special edging carriers... and those don't have any middlemen between you and the flight. The trouble I have with inclusive shops is the girl can forget the initial base price ($50) paid at the desk when quoting upgrade prices. I just prefer to deal direct...
Note: Just today, had a very nice punt in a different shop (I'm not wedded to Summerville). Shower in the room. But when trying to open the shower door, damn thing literally fell off, thankfully into my hands. Heavy pane, certainly NOT plastic. Had to put it back on its tracks, it missing a top wheel. I won't name the shop, but be careful out there...
I don't mind paying the extra the shops are now charging BUT what really pisses me off , the girls still get the old rate.

Really? Wow, where have I heard this before. They also don't have retirement benefits (what is that called, "super"?) and they (most likely, not an expert) don't have govt medical insurance, instead needing private ("Temporary residents are required to pay taxes on income earned in Australia. They do not have access to social welfare benefits or national public health cover.") Tradeoffs everywhere. Just talked with someone today who mentioned she goes back to her own country for dental work. Actually seems a bit unfair to me - pay taxes but don't receive FULL benefits...
But as I always say, if you think this is such a great idea, join them. Go be an expat in a foreign country (for specific projects, only need 91 days offshore to qualify) or establish foreign residency. Australian tax free income. Easy Peasy.
Agreed. Except that most realize that their resident longevity is tenuous and so the criteria is to earn as much money as fast as possible in the time available. While many might dream of permanent resident status, they're just doing the best they can with what they've got. And at least in the demographics that I visit, most are supporting themselves here while supporting a family at home.
I'd be curious as to how many Ozlanders fully declare cash payments for tax purposes. Certainly nobody skims some...
