I have been lucky enough over the years to have had both as regs, sometimes one of each on the same day but seperate bookings.
When you see some of the gorgeous young Thais and then see an older Thai lady for the same service, i don't think the end result is as cut and dry as one would think.

Some of my best have been in their 50's i would say but still looking ok.
