Anyone who drives a non-electric car will now think twice about having a punt

Few years back I got rid of the car and started using public transit as much as possible. Only had to take cabs 4 or 5 times since. If your home, work and other places are usually within reasonable walking distance to a station I highly recommend it. I get a bit of walking in, save a fair bit of cash, and have a good excuse to walk over for a punt on occasional afternoons when the trains are fucked, lol.

I have been doing WFH since July 2021.
I have a car that I bought in November 2024 and I have done like 3500 km so far.
I have a Chinese RNT place about 200M from my front door and Thai RNT place about 400M from my back door.
When I get bored of those I walk about 300M and I get myself on a bus to go into the city that gets me into any location I feel like going to.
Not spending money on fuel and using public transport is not too bad in my opinion, and I think we are all going to be doing more of that if things keep on going the way they are.

Nah I'm more concerned about there being fuel to get to the punts from a month now.
If I don't punt after 2 weeks that when things can get bad for me. I get aggressive towards others and have a potential for fights. And jerking off makes it 10x worse.

My Opal card gets me any place I've ever wanted to go. Nice when your weekly total cost is capped. No parking hassles.

Sounds like you need to work on some self regulation. This shit doesn't make you alpha.

I heard Albo government is thinking to add EV road “free kick” tax based on GPS mileage tracking or whatever. Getting screwed either way is like this administration is the gayest ever.

EVs are mainly driven by fags in Sydney so maybe they will enjoy getting fisted.

I live in sydney and for the record am not a fag but I bet all those EV drivers nationwide would be enjoying not paying through the nose, if, and I repeat if, they are lucky enough to get their choice of fuel from their local servo

Maybe the government can subsidise the cost of the fuel. All the fucken taxes we pay to these beaurocratic cows who just sit around doing nothing.
Like a pack of ciggies, $4-5 max in the Middle East. Here, same packet fucken $60.

Just to be clear, you don't actually think bureaucrats are actually making money out of tobacco taxes right?

Not speaking for him, but there's an argument to be made here. They can profit out of it indirectly. Lobbying, political donations from powerful groups to reduce taxes in some areas, which forces the goverment to continuously raise taxes on tobacco as one of the ways to cover the shortfall.

    Whore moose

Get set for paying over 4 bucks a litre this time next month of there’s still some fuel left.

The US and Israel can want all the regime change the can, they can have a big gay swimming contest across the straight of whore-moose, and it ain’t gonna make a lick of difference at the bowser. You know why?
Because Iran’s got these drones. That’s why- 2 words: Asymmetric Fucken Warfare.

serves the west right for thinking this Iran war will be a walk in the park.
this is what happens when you brainwash your people so hard, you end up brainwashing your own next generation.

I hear ya bro. But here's the thing. The US are happy to use multimillion dollar missiles to knock down drones that cost $50k each because someone somewhere is profiting massively from it.

That's the USA for you bro. Absolutely rotten from the inside out. So rotten that you can't even tell who's the good guy from the bad guys.
