I assume it would be a different story up North, since they are closer to Indonesia.
I think that there may be a cultural reason for why we have few Indian MLs, which is that Indian women who come into Australia are largely from middle class families that are likely to both heavily monitor them in some way, and react much more badly to finding out that they are working in a RnT when compared to other Asian nationalities. I think this might apply to Muslim Indonesians also.
