Ok the shower is doing my.head in and it reminds me of my old 1890s home.in farkin South Yarra.. anyway

So you are safe

1. Turn hot tap (only) on 8 or 9 turns... water will be cold for a minute or so then comr out scalding hot.
2. Turn cold water tap barely 1 quarter of a turn... wait.. water will go very cold
3. Turn cold tap a tiny amount towards off... wait 30 secs
If ok step in... if still cold
4. Turn cold tap a teensy amount more towards off or other if too hot

These old shower systems only work with absolute precision and they are a major PITA
