What are bros thoughts on the amount of fake reviews hitting the forum?
It's blatantly obvious, i don't believe the reviews, but it definitely takes credibility away from the shops.
Seems to be the same shops as well, multiple reviews spamming the forum, click on their profile 1-10 posts, brand new profile and ALL their engagement/posts are about the same shop.
Pretty disappointing that these shop owners think we're stupid enough to believe this nonsense, and the fact that its from well known shop owners who have been in the game for a long time.
Keen to see how u guys tell a real review or not besides just the number of posts and when the account was created?
The thing is that there is next to no incentive nowadays to write genuine reviews. There is seldom any follow up from other punters, unless the review poster keeps reposting the same review; and the reviews get buried almost immediately from other shop owners. I can not remember the last time I have bothered to take any notice of a review posted. Not since Rooter disappeared anyway.
I don’t bother posting reviews or reading reviews as the shops keep reposting old reviews and flooding the review section and admin don’t give a toss about it. Their answer is use the sort button.
Same, ive posted a bunch of reviews only for it to be buried instantly so I dont bother anymore its all in DMs now
Spend long enough time looking for Intel and you'll find certain users seem to push particular shops constantly
Not saying they are fake reviews, but there is material interest for them which is why they do it

Honestly though, if the service is good and the girls are hot. Who cares?
Would rather they just advertise openly instead of pretending to be general punters.
But also, I'd advocate for punters to leave reviews. I try to as that's the point of this website and helps newbies and experienced punters alike
Anyone knows what happen to Rooter? He surfaced some 1-2 years ago saying he was on hols and that was the last we heard ?

FWIW I'm a relatively new account that only posts about 1 shop. Surely it's not that uncommon for people to only frequent 1 convenient, safe shop and to want to give back with the odd AR?
There have been few forum star like 'AHLUNGOR', who reviews have been nothing but all truth to the bone.
Pity in current times its more of repeated past reviews posted again n again by shops , or fake reviews, or worse some punter posting reviews showing how best their punt has been but not sharing and keeping it all for themself.
Let's just say I wouldn't touch this topic with a 10-foot pole. It is what it is for as long as I can remember.
Instead of being negative about it, even the "fake" ones (and we're not talking about the constantly reposted ones by the shops!) have some truth in them. You just have to strip away the superlatives and take in the important bits.
And of course your expectations of what you can get out of the reviews have to be reasonable.
Guys, if the reason you’re not writing reviews is that they get buried, then you’re kind of missing the whole point of the forum. A couple of people here are basically saying they’ve stopped because reviews disappear quickly or shops repost old ones, but if everyone takes that attitude, there’s nothing left except ads, DMs and recycled content.
This place only works because people actually contribute. I write reviews, good and bad, and yes, they can get buried. So repost them in the relevant discussion thread, link back to them, bring them up when someone asks for intel. There are plenty of ways to get more eyeballs on them. Most of mine end up with thousands of views.
Writing genuine reviews is the lifeblood of a forum like this. If you’re happy to come here and use everyone else’s intel but can’t be bothered contributing because your post might not stay on page one, then sorry, that’s just lazy. You’re taking from the community without putting much substance back into it.
Same as the real world you will see fake or unauthentic ads and reviews. Since you already noticed their pattern so shouldn't be hard for you to filter them out.
I also want to point out that I often have different experiences than other ARs but it's typically YMMV.
Personally I feel the quality of reviewers has dropped in the past few years.
I’ve personally slowed down my punting and generally don’t bother with AR’s anymore. There have been too many times where I’ve TOFTT, posted an AR, and then someone comments saying they either had a similar experience or had an amazing time and can’t understand why I had a bad time. In those instances I’m like “well where is your AR then?” Honestly got sick of it.
Also doesn’t help that my local has dipped in quality.
I do write ARs regularly, especially nowadays, I’m not sticking to any regular and tend to try new girls. I usually skip writing one if the session is just average or bad.
I don’t know about the others, but for me, one of the biggest things that demotivates me from writing ARs is knowing that my taste can be quite different from other people’s.
I don’t really mind if my AR sinks quickly. If someone is interested in a particular girl, they’ll usually search her name or the shop and find the relevant ARs anyway. The only problem is when the girl’s name is too short or too common.
Trust me, many viewers would appreciate your negative reports that help them to avoid the potential bad punts and save money. I do read negative ARs they helped me to choose/avoid girls.
The general centiment on the forumn tends to post postiive ARs and posts only. I have learnt to read between lines to catch the infomration that is useful to me, especially the factual description like flat chest, scars, birth marks, shaggy boobs.

Well said. Writing reviews is really helpful. It could be in 6 - 12 months some punter searches the WL and gets some valuable intel. It can be frustrating if the reviews gets no replies but that is something us users can fix. If you’re sick of shops bumping the same reviews then reply to a review you feel is genuine and bump that thread.
That’s true. Also the amount of times I see a shop or WL referenced in general talk as somewhere the poster has visited but no ARs. Even a short and simple AR is better than none.
Since I gave my former reg the flick earlier in the year I haven't been punting much. I still keep reading the forum (maybe habit?) & still find some valuable intel at times.
I will continue to contribute where I can but my AR's will be somewhat limited due to my limited punting. Still searching 'tho...
With the new Western Sydney Airport nearly finished, I'm seeing a massive shift and boom out west and down the south western corridor. Suburbs are popping up all over the joint, and shops are opening left, right and centre around ShamblesTown, Camden, Oran Park, Narellan, Eastern Creek, Shalvey, Gregory Hills, Macarthur and everywhere in between.
Demographically, it's a pretty mixed bag; Aussies, plenty of Indians, Asians, Pacific Islanders and Filipinos moving through the area. And I'm starting to see a few rub n’ tugs popping up as well.
Best keep your ear to the ground, have a stickybeak every now and then, and see when and where the action starts shifting. Tip: Narellan has a few hidden gems.
SAY WHAT!?!?!? FAKE REVIEWS?!?! Say it ain't so, Joe. Isn't EVERY review legit, just like every photo? I mean, how is a punter to KNOW what's what?
Has common sense evaporated? People don't understand marketing? That photo on the box, does it match what's inside, e.g. food? On a menu? That model kit you bought as a kid with the complete, painted model on the box lid (OK, confession, not all that good with my hands...) I just treat them as a "made you look" try.
Burying posts? OMG. Your byline got bumped to the 2nd page? The horror, the horror. I count on the built in protection from the lurkers, gawkers, leeches, those too f*cking lazy to do a bit of reading for free intel (free to them, but NOT free to the poster, cost money for the punt and time and effort to write and post). Guess for some 2 clicks to SORT are 2 clicks too many. "Oh, NO, I want the info at the top, highlighted, spoon-fed..." You don't know how to scan? What, you took 1 course per semester, "oh, all that homework, reading... too much. The professor should provide handouts with ALL the answers at the beginning of the class..." Generation raised on Cliff Notes, now ChatGPT, Gemini AI. Just host an AI and point it to aus99... Talk about entitled. Why would I want some entitled whiner darkening the doorstop of a good provider? Can work better than an easily gamed private thread.
Seems some want accolades for their AR's. Simple RECIPROCITY for me. I'm a bit too old for "gold stars"; knowing I contributed sufficient. If someone has to put in a bit of work to find, fine by me; I put in the work.
Check the prose. As in any intel, check the SOURCE. Learn how to search. Master the tools available. Good AR, bad AR: just ONE man's opinion of HIS experience. Only way for ME to know how applicable to ME is BOTG. I understand YMMV.
I have no problem with self-service; seems others expect concierge. Go see the chaplain and have him punch your TS card.
