The industry takes a shit due to the living costs.

From what I hear, the number of customers in the industry has dropped significantly, and people are spending far less money.

With interest rates set to rise again today, I suspect the industry landscape will undergo a major shake-up if this trend continues.

Just as polarization is happening everywhere else, I think the same applies here. Only major players like T5 will likely turn a profit, while many small-scale businesses will disappear.

Everyone is aware of the news that restrictions on student visas are about to be drastically tightened.

It looks like bleak times lie ahead for punters. No new talent coming in and fewer options available.

I pay off the loan, hand my paycheck over to my wife, and get a meager allowance. What is there left for thrifty punters like us to live for?

I kind of noticed less interaction here than I remember 12 months ago (was generally just lurking then).
I find it amazing still that Caucasian ladies I was just checking out earlier in year and as recent as month ago increase anywhere from $100 - $300 per hour. To make it more affordable for us punters they offer now 15min services at an eye watering $300. But I guess it’s all supply v demand - must be plenty of cashed up punters out there for that business model to work, well - all power to them. I guess I’m stuck with Asians for now.

It's hard to reconcile the cost of living issue - there are heaps of punters affected - shops are seeing less customers, my dick pill business has all but ceased and at the same time, i travel a lot for work and the airports are always packed and restaurants full of diners - wtf???

Maybe more Punters are going less often, for sure.
But at the same time ,so many seem to go 5P as a " Spur of the Moment" decision as soon as its offered. Even from unknowns.
It seems as though, the Small Brain is not receiving all the messages regarding the Cost of Living. Crisis.

I was in a popular chain last week around mid day and had a chat and found I was the first customerfor her that day.
    I was thinking what?

I agree, as for caucasian gals, I dunno how they have many, or even any, clients/customers. Like starting at 300 dollars? How many people can charge that much for 15 or 30 minutes work?

Still quite a few attractive and fit Asians around though, at least thirty percent or so still charge reasonable rates, at least those in the 30 to 40 year old age range. I think a lot of men currently just have enough to pay for rent/mortgage and groceries, fuel and bills lately. They might have maybe 100 or maybe 150 left over after expenses, that don't go far for punting obviously.

I have cut back my spending recently , no restaurants, and only punting fairly part time nowadays, although I don't have any debts.

The situation is slowing but not yet to the point where there will be much discounting though it could develop fairly quickly. If we get back to something like the early/mid nineties when it was common for there to be 200/300 applicants for a job then we will see some serious price cuts. I think something like nail salons in the shopping centres are a good barometer of the general state of the economy, it's a purely discretionary spend so very susceptible to economic conditions.
