Nope. My cafe lattes are like 130B in BKK. Same as Oz. Outside of BKK its significantly cheaper. Like 60B in Chiang Rai.

Reckon thailands still pretty cheap, you just need to really get in the groove, get out and about, move away from heavily populated or where all the first time tourists are going or are at and food, drinks, girls and accommodation is really good value compared to here. But if you just stick to upmarket motels, upmarket bars and be reckless with ladies and grog your money will burn. Still plenty of good value in Thailand, just got to go a couple times you'll work it out
