Poplar was doing great in Surry Hills, opens at World Square, again too close to Thaitown, looks like going bust now.
It’s like a Bermuda Triangle of good shops this area. Too much of a coincidence!

I’d even say Tokio Studio is another example. Their old place was closer to Thaitown than where they are now.

Interesting. 429 Pitt is in Thaitown and is 'apparently' succeeding...yet others are cursed...the gambling thing is real though. I went to Caddy's Place in Ashfield back in the day, then venutured up the hill to Wests Ashfield Leagues for a cleansing ale (natural dessert after a helping of massage and TT) and there is the same Mamasan I had paid ca$h to an hour earlier, putting my hard earned through the pokies. That shop has been tits up for 10 years now.

Poplar 6 has had a few LB's, some good and majority soso, and a few bad/cheating.

Seeing the oriface they are all about, you got to wonder why anoher shop dealing similar, doesn't get bad reviews and no lb's.
I can understand seeing LB's (I do ocassionally) so why I wonder somewhere like [Dragon Tendon Healing Massage] hasn't put one on to try (or maybe tiffany has ?)

definitely his shops at present time [ who knows in the near future ] have lost power but no are not closed.

Whoever has let these businesses decline has a lot to answer for.
There were a few gems at any time, but with mismanagement like this, not much chance they will stay

5a Erskine St near Barangaroo is good for a tug if you don't mind them a little older, lol. But yeah can't think of anything great above Town hall

As bro madness123 said, if you're in the CBD, you might as well go to Ginza. Both are highly accessible using the tram. Stop at Chalmers St for GE, Surry Hills for GC. They should make this part of the announcement at the stops, "Alight here for T4 T5 line trains,.... and a visit to GE", lolll

Looks like they are back in business today. To welcome everyone back, they've rostered Tara, the LB, at Poplar. She's the one who shorts you on time and doesn't provide the agreed services. I wonder if the receptionist who looks the other way while Tara short-changes time is on? Or what about the manager who does jack shit when people bring problems to his attention?

The world square shop even before jacob was and rnt.

Actually years ago they had a spa bath, which was rarely used but very nice.... unfortunately gone.
