I think consistency is a big issue with the Aussie side:
with the bat, I think only Haddin had done well in all the first innings throughout the 5 tests. Michael Clarke did the two centuries when it's needed and set up the series win then went totally cold with his bat, did well with the captaincy and the fielding though. then all batsmen except George Bailey (par one over in Perth with 28!!) had all made centuries so I guess they stepped up at various stages of the series - a true team efforts or inconsistency !!
The 4 bowlers though were more consistent than the batsmen and I think they were the group which really won the series.
Aaron Finch made two centuries in the ODI (I think he was the only centurion from both side) but the other 3 matches he was ordinary!!
So we still have plenty of work to do for South Africa !
