Wherever you go, there will be places that you can continue to punt but not on the same scale as in Sydney. As for HK, it appears to be a punter's playground with many girls from Indonesia, Philippines, China and other Asian countries looking to make extra money or to go out with guys.
Can guys give up punting permanently? It would be extremely difficult for many because once you have punted during your life, the temptation to give up punting is to difficult to follow through when you have an abundant supply of young Asian girls from overseas studying or working here. In addition, if we didn't have smartphones that provide easy access to sites like Aus99 or Wechat then the urge to checkout shop rosters, read ARs or girls' advertisements would not occur. On the other hand, if we kicked the punting habit out of our lives, we could save a considerable amount of money and put it towards the purchase of a motor vehicle, holidays or expensive designer label goods such as watches, suits or electrical equipment. In the end, there are pros and cons with respect to punting.
