Everyyear the team that wins NRL has experts calling them first team to go back to back since 1992. But its very difficult to win due to evenness of comp and need everything to go right in a season. The NRL is won on team playing as one and having lots of lucks along the way. It isn't won on paper and who's got the better team unless they are a super dream team. By midway in a season then you can make a firm prediction

I'd be wishing for you to wear the sharks colours, sky blue on girls makes me go weak at the knees.

Prediction for next year the STORM ! For a team to nearly win the premiership after being starved of possession ...really impressed the shit out of me!

But in the mean time I'm still partying up up Cronulla!!!

With a name like Babycat, you would look awesome in Black and Gold (Tigers), but my preference would be Blue and White (Bulldogs).

Storms is unknown as much as if Billy Slater is even fit to play this season.

The Cowboys will be there about but every team will lift when they face the Premier !!

    Go the Broncos !!
Pretty good predictions after two rounds!

When you are the Premier, every team will be out to have a crack at you which in itself is enough to motivate the opposing team to lift, there will be no easy game for the Sharks next year!

Also, many of their players had a taste of Origin football this year , most of them will be in the Blues team again, and if the Sharks are going well enough come Origin time, more will be selected like Barba and Holmes and their depth will be fully tested like the Broncos , CBs and Storms, good luck to them all !

I think with the NRL, clubs only have a small opportunity to claim a Premiership, they have a window of 2-3 years max, look at the Roosters and the Bulldogs (both suffering downturns this year). I believe that this is due to the Salary Cap, new technology and techniques being utilised, ability to identify talent, the coach and his management skills (ability to sweep incidents under the carpet) and of course luck.

The Sharks were lucky enough to take advantage of this upturn in fortunes. It remains to be seen if the likes of Canberra and Penrith can maintain a high level of passion to challenge for the Premiership next year or will the likes of Parramatta or the Tigers, who have shown a lot of potential this year, go to the next level.

Anyway, not forgetting that this is a punting site, I also love boobs.

Winx is a champion ! If she can win a Cox Plate again next year, she would be our greatest WFA Stars ever!

I know Kingston Town also won 3 consecutive Cox Plates, but back then there were no international horses in the field and just the way Winx has destroyed her rivals today, it was breathtaking!

She may run again in the new Mackinnon Stakes in two weeks, $2M race over 2,000m. It would be like easy money for her .

    BTW

    Sacred Elixir for the Derby
    Jameka for the Cup
And Yankee Rose for the Oaks !

    Happy punting everyone !

It's Melbourne Cup time again, here are my tips for the Trifecta @$336.00 for 1 unit or $168 for 50%

    Good luck everyone:

    1. Big Orange @$15, why? came 5th last year beaten 2.5 length and last start won the Goodwood Cup 3,200M

    6. Hartnell @$5, second best horse in Australia at the moment and beat Jameka by 3 lengths in the Turnbull.

    8. Wicklow Brave @$15, won the Irish St Ledger 2,800M beating Order of St George who then ran 3rd in the Arc

    12. Jameka @8.00 - my personal tip to win the Cup, I hope. Won the Caulfield Cup by 3 lengths, no horses from behind could beat her.

    13. Heartbreak City @$16 - Won the Ebor 2,800 at York by 4 lengths

    17. Almandin @$13 - in good form, sired by Monsun who has already produced two Cup winners in Fiorente and Protectionist plus Kerrin McEvoy.

    20. Oceanographer @$7.50 - two big runs in the Geelong Cup and Lexus, rock hard fit ! Meet Hearbreak City 7 kg better

    23. Qewy @$23 - Won the Geelong Cup leading from the front

    Nice choices bro A.
6 horses boxed @ $336 is a big investment but if it comes through you will get a nice payout.
You have no roughies in there so you won't get a huge payout.
But even if one or two of those 15/1 to 20/1 horses come in the first three it will be big enough.
I would include one or two roughies in there too just to have a chance of winning huge.

That's 8 horses boxed brother rooter.

I know the Melbourne Cup has a habit of throwing in a big outsider from time to time but in putting these tips together, I did spend a bit of time studying the forms , pedigrees and everything I could lay my hands on, and you got to tips the genuine winning chances !

And I think these 8 horses are the most likely .

This Spring carnival so far seems to be favouring the big stables, top jockeys and form horses, so I am betting on the Cup trifecta to pay around $500/$600 rather than $1,000+

In fact, I will be happy to see Jameka and Hartnell to come in 1-2! Then most punters will have a winning cup tickets !

    Good luck everyone

    Cheers

    Good luck bro!
I'm including No. 9 Almoonqith in all my trifectas though and straight up to win it too.
Likes the distance and is a much better horse than his 18th place last year.
Finished 4th in the Caulfield Cup and needed more distance which he will get in the Melbourne Cup

Good choice for an each way chance brother rooter!

I saw Almoonqith's flashing run in the Caulfield Cup too, but two things worry me: firstly, I don't think any horse behind Jameka that day could beat the winner, secondly, history said if you failed in one Cup, most unlikely you can be competitive in the next.

However , history also favoured those who ran well, just look at Red Cadeaux and Zippings, so close for many times without winning. So on that basis I think Who Shot Thebarman and Big Orange should run well again, but hey, you can't tip them all right?

And I probably will regret it come 3.20pm that I didn't pick Bondi Beach and Grey Lion either .

So I saved on a 6/12, 12/6 and the field trifecta and wishing for a big outside to come third on this occasion if the favourites can come home together .

    Go Jameka !

Well, another Cup has run and won, it's very disappointing that Jameka didn't stay the distance otherwise I would have collected another grand!

Just for the records , yours truly also tipped the trifecta and first 4 in 2014 !

The last three overseas Cup winner: Media Puzzle, Americaine and Dunadun all won the Geelong Cup - but the Geelong Cup winner this year can't even get into the Cup field - so we have to look at the Caulfield Cup winner in Admire Rakti and Protectionist who ran 4th in the Herbert Power. Last time Delta Blue ran a place in the Caulfield Cup, he won the Cup next up.

Also in recent years, the Cox Plate has been a good indicator - Fawkner beat all bar Adelaide so must be included and he won the Caulfield Cup last year and ran 6th in the Cup so he is the best of the locals with WFA forms.

Other locals we have to include Lucia Valentina and hope that she can stay the two miles. Signoff won on Derby Day so capable of doing a Shocking with minimum weight and has the in form jockey.

So, if you want to box say 6 horses for the trifecta, it will cost you $120 for 1 unit, you can do that or bet half a unit for $60.00

For me, I think I need to box 8 horses, and included D Oliver's Mutual Regard and the horse who ran second twice in the past two years - in Red Cadeaux - some horses seem to run well in certain races at certain time of the year, think Zipping - ran 4th in three Melbourne Cups.!
And Glen Boss on Who Shot TheBarMan who won twice at Flemington and won the Auckland Cup (3,200m) this year.

So my 8 horses box trifecta @ 1/2 unit = $168.00 - that's my Saturday punt at 316 with Rebecca, plus another legit massage from Kitty or Candy - double or nothing..................lol

    1. Admire Rakti
    3. Fawkner
    4. Red Cadeaux - Second for the Third Time !
    5. Protectionist - First
    11. Mutual Regard
    12. Who Shot TheBarMan - Third
    22. Lucia Valentina
    24. Signoff

    Good luck everyone !!

    Cheers

ps. It must be an Omen - this is my 20,168 post - lucky 168 !!
