My best mate at uni is a bartender. He told me today the same story. A few older alcoholic guys at his pub who are lonely and always want his time for a chat even though he is busy. The lonely guys tend to pick someone they know is forced to listen and cant easily walk away, as my mate works behind the counter !
These lonely guys dont realise how boring and uninteresting they are to listen to

Sharing feelings is getting into risky territory.
You are placing extra expectations on people where its not warranted. You may enjoy mind dumping your confessions on people, and due to the nature of the transaction, the lady may feel obliged to listen. But 99% of the time, they are not wanting a deep and meaningful.

These ladies are not being paid to be your psychologist, counsellor, or even friend.

This post reminds me of the lonely man who wants to discuss his life with the attractive lady bartender. You may not realise this, but that lady is 100% not interested in your life. She is there doing her job

While I agree that the girls are not being paid to be a Councilor, I think there are many lonely men who primarily visit WLs/ MLs for companionship and someone to talk to ! They may engage in deep and meaningful conversations with them about their lives! I also think that unlike your male bartender friend, the girls actually would find a lot of the stuff interesting as girls generally do enjoy gossip and drama.

Then there are other guys who are just 'Go in, get off, get out' without a word of conversation.

Personally, I'm somewhere in between.

I agree with Alan, I suspect a lot of blokes visit ML/WLs primarily for talk and companionship. To be a good ML/WL I guess you've got to be able to converse and sometimes even counsel your punters. In some cases I'm sure this would add to the ML/WLs emotional baggage. Makes me wonder who counsels the ML/WL.

A lot of this happens. Guys spend money to see the girls and just talk to them. No sex. The girls tell me that they like it as it is easy money for them as talking beats getting fucked relentlessly.

I actually really liked Ahlungor from the get go. He seemed to me to be a happy go lucky guy who had a genuine love for rnt and MLs, much like I did. I liked his attitude on the forum, and calling everyone 'brother'.

Whether he is a shill or a fake I can't say. We don't have any hard evidence for it. We know he's done a few dodgy things, but the rest is just speculation.

I also take my hat off to him for ploughing through the years of abuse on this site to get to 30k posts. He's a trooper!

I might be leaving the site soon (it's been great fun and I'll miss you all!) so I might not be here for his 30,000th post, so I just want to congratulate him in advance.
