    Sobering news from South Africa

    From http://www.abc.net.au/news/2013-03-1...sitive/4574134
    > As many as 28 per cent of South African schoolgirls are HIV positive, according to figures from the country's health minister.
    > He said just 4 per cent of schoolboys have the virus.
    > "It is clear that it is not young boys who are sleeping with these girls. It is old men," the Sowetan newspaper quoted Mr Motsoaledi as saying.

Keep that in mind if you punt there...

    ..
28 per cent !! its scary, but I really doubt that figure, may be the sample populations are all taken from the same villeage or a specific area. Lucky we live in Australia !!

    Cheers

Lucky we are in Australia indeed but with international travel so easily available, I can't help but to be careful. I can't justify BBFS with WL this day in age.

Born and lived there for 21 years and not surprised, once I left I never looked back.

Most " New South Africans" aka as black people do not believe in condoms as it goes against some stupid made up religon nonsense and they do sleep with a lot of ladies (more than rooter) so doing this unprotected spreads it bad.

In SA if you are raped you had 90% of getting HIV and SA has a very high rape problem (every couple of minutes someone is raped if I remember correctly) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexual_...n_South_Africa).

When the SA president says HIV is made up what chance do they have!

According to the CIA (Factbook on there site) South Africa's population is in decline.

I immigrated to Australia from Zimbabwe, South Africa's neighbour. In Zimbabwe I employed a staff of about 150 people. I was loosing 1 or 2 members of staff per week to Aids.

It is rumored that up to 75% of Zimbabwe's armed forces have aids.

I remember not long back South Africa's president, Thabo Mbeki, stated that there was no such thing as aids. If the top man has this to say, there is no hope.

That is really sad to hear.
There is always hope brother, as others will now witness, you've done the next best thing to fighting hopeless leadership in your country, emigration.
    Welcome to Australia.
