You don't need to wait a year or see a girl many times before she gives out her contact details. I've had girls give out their number just after one visit! However, don't expect many messages from the girl or that she responds to your message promptly. Not very reliable girls. You get the feeling they give out their number in order to have you return to see them again and not for friendship reasons.
