Queensland has a plan to restart international student travel in time for first semester next year.

There will be 250 students arriving a week and they must be fully vaccinated.

They will quarantine at Wellcamp.

Qld has its plan to the federal government for approval.

Why would they come to Qld when they can go to NSW and Vic and not pay for quarantine? Honestly sigh…… Qld last again

I'm sure they will just fly to NSW or VIC with no quarantine then just fly to Brisbane.

Of course, but some wont, because, especially many of the Chinese, used to being subservient to China, will do as theyre told.

I mentioned, China, which is a country, not a race. Nor is "Aussie" a race. Unless you assume only white people can be called "Aussie", RLP.

That said, Chinese People are shit scared of their government. You must be thinking of Chinese Aussies that were born here. BIG BIG difference.

Yeah but think till mid January qld need do 14 days I spoke to girl who was a good ml back in Korea she getting ready to get back here thank god !!!

Well borders opening ceremony is delayed by 2 weeks due to Omicron ........may be more!

Anyone who thinks the whole landscape of punting is going to change just because the borders open up is probably wandering around that theme park at Coomera.

wrong theme park Bouncy ...as I stated .......Anyone who thinks the whole landscape of punting is going to change just because the borders open up is probably wandering around that theme park at Coomera.

and read the small print .......Visa scrapped for international students ..."over the next 8 wks"

I had reason to go on Campus at Gardens Point QUT. Defintely there is an uptick in foreign looking faces. Yes they could be australians but their clothes make them look like new arrivals.

I think they are filling. But getting a job in a massage joint is probably not going to happen until they run out of the initial money pool considering these arrivals will be coming from wealthier middle class
