We all have a fondness for someone. Whether you follow through with it is another thing.

Any money you give has to be written off as not coming back. I only know of one WL, who had a large debt of $100k and paid it back. Took her a year but she did it. Quite possibly some of the punters here helped her 😂 She is a local.

That being said he could be spruiking the shop.

As to lending money, I don't because you always have to consider it a gift; a pleasant surprise when it is returned. I will always remember one FL who I floated her first month's rent and several months later, it was returned.
