Wondering what you blokes do for tips. If a massage has been good but no hints of extras, do you tip? I do but wondering if that would speed up or decrease the chances of getting extras. I just tip enough for her to know that there could be a potetial for more. At the same time tipping could also tell her that this client is already regular and he gives me these tips anyway to no need to proceed to extras????

I wouldn’t give any extra cash before extras are worked out. Especially not when punters are already complaining about price rises (although personally I haven’t seen it as bad in RnT joints compared to escorts). If the massage is great, that’s a bonus, but if you really wanted a good massage, you’d be at a legit shop, I think.

But you can (subtly) show you have more cash on you, leave a few pineapples hanging out of your wallet while you get onto the massage table, etc.

Of course, after a good session, feel free to tip, but only for what you would consider exceptional service. If everyone starts tipping all the time, then that becomes expected and we end up paying more overall. Spend your money wisely! If a girl or a shop isn’t offering up the goods after 2-3 visits, move on!

Also, it’ll help if you’re showered, groomed, dressed well and in good shape before you go in - some of these are easier to fix than others, but a little effort can go a long way, as well as some conversation during the massage. Girls like it when you can speak to them in their native language.

Yes, this. I don't usually tip for a legit massage. The better ones charge more, so you are already getting what you pay for. I reward good service with return visits.

I've been known to apologise for being a little sweaty on a hot day, and a few times the response has been to grab a wet towel and wash me down before the massage. You are missing the connection that when you are negotiating the price down that the girl is also reducing her service although she is not telling you this. There is a very real connection between punters that negotiate down their price and then complain of shite service. Of course we don't want to overpay but I prefer to put my negotiating into finding out that she's an enthusiastic participant which deliverers far more value than saving a few bucks.

One suggestion might be for you to try the opposite negotiation. Be willing to have HJ for $50 but let her see that you have the extra money sitting with your phone. So now it's up to her to encourage you to spend the dollars instead of you hoping she will do more for less. It's a subtle difference.

I see your point, but I take a different approach. I might choose the 2p option, be encouraged to go for the 3p, and say I only have an extra twenty. Sometimes that gets you a discounted 3p service because it's been a slow day. Or maybe they decline, then half way through decide that could do with the extra. Either way, if it feels to me like it was worth the full 3p then I may just discover that I have another yellow tucked away.

I only do this for new girls. For regulars I think we already have a good feel for what each other wants and what is on offer.

Thank you Chappie for your input. Agreed 100 percent that one shouldn't give a tip before anything before extras are worked out. Personally I like a good nice hard massage and when a girl tries hard even at a legit shop, it shows. I do tend to give a little (not much) to show that her effort is appreciated. This also initiates a connection with the ML without overboosting her ego. Just something little for a job well done. At times this has led to some (not all) even mls at a legit shop to have a trust and go an extra mile if the request is made humbly and with respect.

Absolutely. Toki. A little respect and courtesy does go a long way. However does the ml not form an impression of you when you lower her rate? And not have the chance to become a repeat customer when her service isn't good? Or have you succeeded most times in getting a good service?

Also I was wondering.....as you said that the price is already high for a good quality massage......do the girls get paid what they deserve? Not sure what percentage of the price they get paid. From one punter I was told that she rents the room for each session for about half the price of the massage.

Cumshot I agree with this. And this is my strategy too. I don't want to spoil the chemistry between us for a few bucks. Indirectly you are telling her that she is not worth the price. Sure the very greedy ones I would politely decline but for a few bucks more it's all right to experience her services. You can always not return. Right?

4FoW2 I know what you are saying but I have had times when I came back only for the massage and over time things developed further. To be honest in my experience this has been the case most of the time. Unless it is an openly r n t shop, most good massage places do not offer it in the first meeting. Maybe they do to you and others but this has been my own experience. Just my two cents.

I have a few strategies and these are primarily based on gut feel of the day, have I been to the same place before but seen a different lady, is this my first time and often just the overall way in which the lady introduces herself etc.

- A totally new place, i may have enquired as to the price (Massage) and will go armed with extra case. If it is $60 for 30 minutes, I will pay with $100 as then the lady knows you have at least $40 left-over and that can set a tone should she be extra-friendly. Sure, I may have a fair bit more to cover other things but she does not know that as all I handed was $100 and got $40 back.

- Where I can, I will also pay the 'shop fee' (the bassic massage price) on a card (eftpos or credit) and have always found that if a lady is extra-friendly, they will drop a large hint or give you a 'disappointed eye flutter'. Usually for me, I will say that I have extra but did not want to pay all on card as then the 'boss' (on herside) may start to ask questions. This has never received any knock-back from ladies but I have had some ladies straight up happy to take all on the card/eftpos.

I try not to 'flaunt' that I have extra on me and will not ask any lady outright until she brings up the subject, then we start the discussion. But that also said, I am a relatively soft touch and will not negotiate to hard but if/where a lady is pushy or seems deperate, that is a red flag and I may opt out totally or take a minimum hit.

Massage Hunter, mate you are correct. I go to a place a few times to see if anything develops. Some of my best experiences have been on the third visit. Having said that if after three visits you are not getting what you want out of it then don't go back. Rarely, have I found great success on the first visit. This comment only applies to massage appointments.

It's really hard to say what you would have received. As a general rule, I find that MLs will ask what you're after and not provide an initial menu. I'll then respond by asking what is available. I like having the menu shown to me. And as I said to CumShot, I'll pick an option I'm comfortable paying for, and if there is an attempt to up sell that's when I say I don't have the full amount. So I try not to say the the ML or service isn't worth it, but that I don't quite have enough to cover it. That does work, probably as often as it doesn't.

And like gco0307 said, if you hand over a hundred and get 30 or 40 in change, then the ML knows you have that. So you go for the 2p option, get asked whether you want the 3p, say you only have 2, they say what about the change, and you say well yeah but that's it. Again, on the right day at the right time it's enough.

I like to see the menu because if you push for something which wasn't offered then IME you are more likely to get sub standard service, just because the ML is not really into it.

But it's all highly dependent on the ML, the massage to this point, and how I'm feeling. And how my wallet is looking.

I also try to be respectful during the massage. I don't just start grabbing things. I wait until an opportunity appears, like the ML leans up against my arm or hand and at that point I just may push back a little to say I've noticed it and I'm not unhappy.

I'm trying to make the ML feel comfortable, and not push beyond what she wants. The ML isn't my toy to use and abuse. I want her to think I was a great client and that she might actually look forward to me returning.

Chinese shops ladies get a lot less on massage fee plus fines for being late sometimes deposit to work at shop sometimes owner keep few days pay sometimes owner keep passport of ladies .. you don’t have to be genius to work out shops in Brisbane who do it and expand into many shops . Think of the rent electricity water oils washing and other daily costs then u will realise how they can expand

By the way another thing that I have had experience with was on retaining the tip amount. Some mls (not the r n t shops but mostly legit shops) take the punter for granted and let's say he was tipping her some amount for giving some tnts, kissing or touching and then slowly she becomes lazy as the days go and starts giving less and less. Softy as I am I do not reduce the tip amount which I have been giving her in the expectation of getting more. However this should not be the practice. One should be brave enough to be able to reduce the tip amount and tip her according to her performance. I need to be more gutsy on this one

I was wondering about the tips system. At a genuine thai massage place, I used to request a specific ml all the time. She used to provide a good tt and I used to hand her tips in her hand which she accepted very enthusiastically. Later I found it too embarrassing to leave it her hand so started leaving it in the basket where you put your clothes. After that her enthusiasm and tts died. Not sure if she was told off by management or if she does not receive the tips in the basket. Maybe I could be reading too much into the situation but I am curious. What do you guys think?
