Gee, I don't know where you shop, but a lot of the shops I shop, there are plenty of nice Ozzees (or is that Ozettes?, not familiar with local lingo). OK, fine, the staff, not so much (great legit jobs for older immigrants). But Eastgrardens, number of shops there where I've seen some very nice native species...

Helpful hint: don't mistake EastWOOD for EastGARDENS - be careful of the treacherous Google Maps auto-complete. It WILL send you the wrong way, and, from my visits to EastWOOD, any native species have been crowded out by invasive ones. Likewise Burwood and Harris Park; skip shops there. Last shop, certainly the student store, UNSW (all the way from freshwomen, to TA's, to professors - rare, medium, and well done). As always, YMMV.

True, but given his predeliction for Koreans he should stick to the shops on the East side of the Railway in Eastwood and avoid the Chinese establishments on the West side. Also remember, Strathfield is to Korea as Burwood is to China.
