Made a booking yesterday to see Claire this morning at 10.00am. Booking was quickly confirmed.
Arrived this morning only to be told she is not in until 1.00pm, so much for a confirmed booking.
Messaged them cancelling booking and haven’t heard a word from them.
They can forget me visiting there any time in the future, poor service [emoji34]

Sounds like the girl changed her schedule, but the shop should've told you beforehand

Same thing happened to me once at Summerville. Showed up for my 11:00 booking, girl wouldn't be there until, at the earliest, 13:30. No advance notice.
Difference was, Summer apologized for the non-notice, explaining that the provider had just started back to school, and no one had caught the schedule change. She offered an alternative which became a regular. My attitude - if it happens infrequently, I accept, shit does happen. If it happens frequently, that's a different story.
Obviously not possible on a first booking, but it's why, if the provider has, or shows promise, I'll get her WeChat, just to avoid such mishaps. Never try and bypass the shop, but always try and make sure ALL are on the same page.

they dont tell you because they still want you to come down to the shop in the hope that you're desperate and will just blow your load with somebody else.
Boils my blood. I walk out every time. When I come back on another day to see the person I initally booked, I refuse to pay the shops full rate since they fucked me around last time.
30 mins how much ?
55$ honey
I give you 30$ since you wasted 20 mins of my time last week. Hand over the 30$ cash, they usually pull a face at you and then call the girl. THE SHOP IS DESPERATE !!! NOT US PUNTERS

I'm with Bravo on this . The shop is secondary if they have good quality stuff.
IMO - It's the WL/ML that matters. In the initial stages of my encounters, the shop had f**ked me up with my bookings (despite being a regular) and the WL too. I sure was pissed off but I was forgiving . Afterall, she was their No1 WL and I was low in the pecking order . I eventually became her No.1 client and she was my GOAT. No regrets.

I haven't tried this before but I might start pulling shit like this now if any place fucks me around again. I noticed fs joints are getting cheaper now, all massage joints can get fucked.

True. You get way more at FS shops for way less than RnT shops these days. I've also never had to wait more than 15 minutes for a girl at an FS shop but it's happened countless times at RnT shops even though I always book ahead.

Ah, yes, the ole Zippo strategy (we had to burn the village down in order to save it). Good for the ego, but does that ever work, LONG term? In my ignorance, seems to me, while that marks you as one not to be messed with, also you might be one not to do any favors for. My experience, good will and understanding cuts both ways. As I said, if it happened frequently, I'd take my business elsewhere (especially when I could query the provider of other possibilities). But it's never really happened frequently enough for me to take the nuclear option. I'll certainly take an opportunity to broaden my horizons. If nothing seen, well, alternate target, check route and travel time, then quick call to "hold that flight for me". And I've had a couple of occasions where I had to cancel on short notice.
Apologist white knight? Nah, self interest. I understand that situations can reverse, and having a bit of credit does work for you, both with provider and mamasan.

For me, the shop is ALWAYS secondary; I punt providers, not shops. Now, if she works several shops, I'll pick the shop that I prefer (if the day fits). Summerville always gets the nod in that case, even if it's another 15-20$, just because the facilities are so much better.
Once she's a repeat, I have a direct contact. Has paid off several times when one of us has had to cancel, always letting the other know as soon as possible. One, when running late, even kept me abreast of her travels with photos of her commute. Myself, due to the transportation, I've kept providers abreast of either an early or late arrival. Two sides of the SAME coin.

I run a business too, I never have to scam my customers to keep them coming back. I provide the service that I say that I can provide and I will do it within a time frame that works for all parties. Should something happen, I will always communicate any said issues with the customer directly and also throw in my apologies. It is standard common courtesy. Purposefully misleading your customers is just out-right scamming them. No if's or but's about it. Idgaf who you are. I don't do it for the ego either, I do it because that is what's right.
Also, I dont go to a shop to support the shop. I go for the girls LOL It's the service that im there for.
Same as others who come to me. They don't care about me at all, and im fine with that. I know this because they don't call me to check up on me or ask me to hang out. They only call me to get what they need from me. Business is business at the end of the day.
Lastly, I do not beleive in the whole "never return" ideology. There is always room for improvement/redemption in any given situation. Never wise to burn a bridge.

We do agree on burning bridges (not). My comment was when you do return, you demand compensation (reduced shop fee). But can you be sure it's the shop's fault?
Example: I booked (previous day) at a new to me shop, confirmed. Paid in advance on arrival (lulled into complacency), told the provider would be available "shortly". Waited, waited, waited, with the ole "airplane delayed boarding excuses - just a few more minutes". I was offered alternates, but they didn't provide the services I'd come for (pun intended). After 30 (it WAS a LONG slog out there), I asked for my money back. To her credit, the boss did, no problem. As I left, I'll admit I vented, complaining how I'd wasted time. I've never forgotten her reply. "What can I do? She knew she had a booking. I've called her; she says she's on her way. She says; I don't know. I'M LOSING MONEY." (Clear the boss was irked too). 20 minutes later, just as my bus was arriving (of course), I get a message from the boss, "she's here, available now, if you want". Not a simp; I just don't cut off my nose to spite my face. Went back, paid the FULL amount. Wasn't the shop's fault. And just figured it wouldn't be conducive for a first visit to demand compensation from the provider. Logged it as a win in my book; I now had the knowledge of her experience I came for (pun intended). (BTW: it was a brothel).
When it was the shop's fault, the alternate boss trying to fob off an imposter as the real booking (simple "use this name when introduced"), I walked; alternate target. When I saw the main boss, I told her what had happened. Didn't demand any monetary compensation. She hadn't tried to scam me. She apologized, told me the days she would be "on-site"; problem solved. She's always helpful. RnT.
In my business, if a problem regularly repeats, it CAN be solved. It's the rare, intermittent ones that are the real problems. I just mark them down to "that's life in the big city", life isn't perfect. Good will should flow both ways.
No doubt SOME shops don't communicate "problems" to you for the very reason you cite. But things do get busy (especially when a provider is doing double duty as a receptionist), things do fall through the cracks. What's the ole cliche: never attribute to malice what can be attributed to incompetence. For myself, things like that are all in the wash.
Rhetorical question: if you had to cancel at the last minute, couldn't communicate said cancellation in a timely manner, would you offer compensation for their time on your next visit?
