ML caught feelings for customer

Hi, IÂ’m a ml and i started working in the industry 2 months ago. Since day one, all the girls at the shop have been telling me not to catch feelings for customers because it never ends well and that happened to many of them before. I was aware and cautious of that. But the very first day i started working, i met someone. He has been coming to see me once a week since then and i kinda developed feelings for him after the 3rd meet. I always look forward to seeing him all the time, think about him all the time, miss him every single day. We got very intimate and i knew he just got out of a long term relationship and still heartbroken after that. Recently he told me he didnÂ’t want to come to the shops anymore, he only came there at first because he was at his lowest point in life after breaking up. I still wanna see him,i asked to see him outside of work, he refused and said he didnt just wanna casual hook up. We both know we canÂ’t be in a relationship because of the culture and families differences, our stages and purposes in life, also my family and my life is a mess now we dont have time or effort for all that. I know im so stupid that i felt in love that easily. Normally guys go to shops to see different girls to forget about such feelings. Tbh i donÂ’t know what to do now. How can i get over this ? I've been told about this from one of the rather popular MLs, and yes, word goes around on that subjects between the girls. It's one thing to develop feelings, but in my opinion, just leave at the friendship level, and keep separate what happens in the room, to what happens outside. I already ask my friend MLs at the shop. and they gave me clear answers about that. Maybe i’m still delusional and expect something else. I posted because i wanna hear punter’s perspectives about this. He said he didn’t want just casual hook up, he wanted a real relationship.
