So I’ve been chatting with someone I found on Erobella and she wants a 50% deposit via PayPal. I said I could do about 25% and she agreed.

I had reservations about sending the deposit because what if she just ghosts me when she gets the payment?

She sent me her PayPal email address this morning and has been asking me about the payment all day. When I decided to pay her, the email address was gone (she must have deleted it). When I asked her for the email address again she said she couldn’t find her payID and was trying to set up a new one.

Is this a red flag? Is it normal to pay a deposit electronically first? I’d prefer to just pay cash.

I’m new to this so I’m not sure what’s normal.

Fez, just go to a shop - massage, full service, whatever. There’s loads of reviews on here of amazing girls who would love your cash and your time, who will treat you like their millionaire boyfriend for an hour, and who aren’t going to rip you off.

Came across many escorts that charge a deposit for 'first-time' clients, have always been cautious about this.

From the providers view I can understand as many punters ghost/never show up for appointments, but then again so many negative stories of punters paying a deposit and getting ghosted. I suppose it depends on your propensity for risk taking, ask around in forums or try to google to see if these providers are legit.

That she wants paypal is hard to track and usually international. At least a PayID gives you a name when you search it BUT BUT there are hundreds of girls that don't need a deposit.

I am +1 for a scam.

Even if it wasn't, avoid deposits wherever possible. It's bad for punters so you should reward girls who don't need it.

maybe in future try using your credit card, you can at least dispute any transactions and hopefully get a refund if she ghosts.

I think if you are planning to do a deposit this is where sites like this come into play, If the lady has not been well reviewed and a number of those reviews come from seasoned members here, not dodgy Dan and his one review, then avoid.

The protections with PayPal are usually better than with credit card alone. And disputes are usually resolved faster. Furthermore, to have an account with PayPal, a user would have to provide some form of ID, similar to bank accounts. So from all options to pay a deposit to a WL, this would probably be one of the safest. I would still not recommend doing it.
It might also not be too pleasant to lodge a PayPal dispute and describe the details of the deal you've made with the recipient...

Sounds off, don’t risk it.
