First time at Ginza tomorrow… tips?

Is there anything I should know before going in? Obviously I’ll be freshly showered and scrubbed clean… but just how groomed do I need to be? I’ve shaved my bits, do I need to go further? Do the WL’s expect/accept gifts?

Yeah when you're leaving be prepared for the guys at reception to ask you a whole heap of questions - to rate your session with the girl out of 10, to check that she provided all her advertised services, and to ask for any feedback on how she can improve. Was surprised to be asked all of these questions when I was leaving after my first time there, and I felt a bit awkward as I wasn't expecting it. If you know to expect it then it won't be awkward. When you leave other full service shops all you get is a 'see you next time' from reception but ginza really takes getting feedback from punters seriously, and it seems to actually be used to improve services and weed out the lacklustre WL's.

On top of what you wrote, clean hands, trimmed fingernails, clean ears (some of them do lick the ears). Be friendly/polite/courteous, basically be a decent human being. If you don't want an advertised service, or they don't do an advertised service, communicate with the girl. Once the booking is done, talk to reception after, and give feedback, as neveragain mentioned. Be honest with the feedback, all the positives and negatives, if there are any.

Keep in mind that ‘shower together’ Is part of the service. Of course commendable (and minimum expectation) to arrive for the session clean and groomed, but don’t skip the shower with the girl in the room. For one thing it’s an enjoyable part of the experience (especially with DFK / BBBJ in shower often a listed service) but the girl will want to know you’re clean and not just take your word for it.

On that note, if for some reason BBBJ is not your thing (as is the case with some of the more hygiene conscious punters here) communicate that before or in the first minutes of the shower, because if it’s a listed service 99% sure at Ginza you’ll get it unless you say otherwise.

I agree, felt a bit put on the spot the first time too as it wasn't expected. I get - and appreciate - the reason for it. Quality control and helping the girls improve, no complaints on that front, but it can be a bit like the inquisition sometimes. Like if I had a fantastic time, no complaints, I'll typically give a 9 out of 10 - not because there was anything wrong, but because rarely is anything absolutely perfect. But half the time I'll give 9 out of 10 and they'll be like, 'why only 9?' or 'where can she improve?' Mate, me giving her a 9 out of 10 means she doesn't need to improve, no need for a follow up question.

Or the list of 'did she do / did she offer'. I've yet to see a girl at Ginza who didn't offer something on her list of services that I felt like I missed out on, but sometimes due to the flow of the session maybe something doesn't happen or get offered - so then I almost feel like I have to explain to the reception guys the specifics of how the session went so the girl doesn't get in trouble for not explicitly offering CIM or whatever (for example). So now I just say 'yes, everything offered' - unless I were to feel like I was genuinely short-changed on something (which as I said has yet to happen).

The thing also is - Like I said before, I was only expecting the usual 'see you next time' on my way out, so I breezed by reception and was halfway out the door and he was singing out all these questions loudly to me. He finished one question, I would answer, smile, and then turn to leave but he'd have another question to sing out. All this happening whilst other punters were around haha. Not an issue, I just wish I knew to expect this.
