Question 1/- Why does this forum not discuss Sport, Politics, Religion, the Weather? General chit chat. Brisbane specific.

Question 2/- Why are those of us who have an iq above room temperature sought out and pilloried by the pill pushers, psycho customer, banned from numerous shop types that need their ego satiated by praise on these forums?

An aside: The simple tenet of that first thread has been resolved today with roster listings at a new FV shop.

I realise I came across as rather pompous here. I guess I’m only a member because I use the forum as an information source; and in some cases a spot of light entertainment. I’m one of those weirdoes who has a practically zero online presence and definitely prefer it that way. If my phone pings it’s because I’ve just received a text message; 95%+ of those will be from an actual person as I don’t have any app-thingies that can send notifications. I understand social media and can see its appeal; but I’m just not interested in it.

Probably the biggest reason why I don’t particularly want to know online “people” is that for every 100 or so genuinely interesting and/or informative members you get that one troll who’s sole purpose in life appears to be to demonstrate they’re an absolute twat at every opportunity. None have appeared in this thread yet (beyond me :smile:) but it’ll likely happen soon enough!
