Does anyone know if the new QVB Massage location on Quay St at Haymarket is RnT? I've never had a Japanese style massage and I think I read here that the other QVB location is RnT. Anyone ToFTT yet? If not I'll volunteer.
There is also another new-ish place upstairs at the little shopping centre on Quay st halfway down to Market City on the left and I had a terrible experience there. The lady running it is cute but a total money hound with constant upsell and interrupting the massage to keep upselling, with a half-arsed massage.
651 Bamboo on George St is ok but the quality and craziness of the MLs varies hugely. I like to find places where the quality is more assured.
Any tips?

I’m new to the Sydney massage scene, but from what I’ve read, consistency seems to be the biggest challenge between places and therapists. The whole trial-and-error process sounds a bit like playing FNF (https://fnf.lol) — some sessions hit the perfect rhythm, while others completely miss the beat.

You say consistency, I say variety. Just understand YMMV.

I have found massages in that area to be overpriced HJs. Avoid.

I haven't even bothered. Pyrmont, Summerville, is 2 bus stops away, or a 20 minute walk. A 20 minute train ride gets you to Croydon, LSM. 25 minutes on a train gets you to Burwood, with a nice walk (or bus), Burwood 14. Bit further gets you to West Ryde, Pink Lotus. Bit of walking from Haymarket gets you to Ginza, or, for my tax bracket, Bellevue 12. Opal card - don't leave home without it.

Sometimes I don't have 40 minutes of return travel time to spare.

389 bus from City Hall is 22 minutes return to Summerville. 14 minutes return Lime bike. Unfortunately, Yuki@Pitt retired.

Retired might be too strong a word. Lost space in building, believe building to be demolished? Anyway, she went back to Japan for a time, uncertain on return, if or when.

Title of the thread is Haymarket, so factor in another 15 min return walk to Town Hall, plus time waiting for the bus. You must get very confused by Chris Nolan movies?

No, my reading comprehension is spot on. It's just that I don't try and flog dead horses. I could also suggest the 501 (an ounce of steel where it counts), but here, I'm talking bus, Haymarket to Pyrmont, 28 minutes return. Nice thing about Sydney transport, linked to Google Maps, so you know the exact bus arrival times (speaking from experience here). There's also Susan on Kent St, but that is that lethargic tram to Town Hall, then short walk (16 minutes return all in from Haymarket).
For me, I'd rather go for quality, saving money (ka-ching) when there's not sufficient time for indulgences. Myself, I'm very well versed in map reading, traversing (thank you Google Maps), along with spatial orientation and inertial navigation (yea, I'm old, pre-GPS, pre-mobiles, etc.) along with time management (road warrior - the plane, Boss, the plane... doesn't wait). Thanks for asking (did enjoy the movie). But it does seem you're a bit agitated... tight leash chaffing? Just ask a Thai for some ZamBuk...
