No reputable source is reporting that, what he's told police is that he tried to shortchange her and then they started arguing. Crazy how people will make up insane lies, but the reason is obvious, they want to deflect blame and imply she deserved it somehow. But hey! I guess it's just "out of their control"!

This is a fucked up case and more information will come to light in time.

Also one reason sex work should be legal and regulated.

His time in jail will be shocking both before and possibly after the trial. He might prefer execution. (Which might happen in jail).

Thai media is reporting Mr Carman and Ms Tunchanok fought over money, after having initially agreed he would pay her 1,000 baht ($43). They reportedly argued after he offered 500 baht instead.

According to the news report he first claimed self defence, before admitting to killing her.

Its Hard to see photos of that girl who looks so bubbly, big smile and full of life after watching the video of her body in that suit case.

I reckon it wasn't over money, he just found a very young girl to take home and went too far in his fantasy with her. In his police recording he even mentions about warning other girls about men in this line of work which tells me it was premeditated, as if he knows other men think the same thoughts/fantasy's

Well, obviously, he wasn't. Because he didn't know, didn't remember:
#1 Rule of Outcall: You don't pay her for sex. You pay her to LEAVE.

Perhaps menu change. Perhaps LT became ST. So he offers her half. But he doesn't consider her perspective. Because that's a MAJOR loss of face for her, returning to her friends with "how much?" That quiet, subservient, smiling girl (just because she's smiling doesn't mean she's happy), suddenly is not so quiet, not so subservient, not smiling, now SCREAMING. He doesn't want his neighbors disturbed... Maybe she "mentions" she's only 17... He wants to shut her up, but a small face/big hands or 17 year old neck/strong hands... not a good match.

All over WHAT? 500 baht? Approximately $20au. Know how to read the room. Know when to hold, know when to fold.

An ABSOLUTE TRAGEDY for the girl and her family, especially the muckraking. For him... SCUM, hopefully a long term in general population.
