Hey guys,
I just recently realised that I've been a bit of a spendthrift my whole life. I then realised that this actually relates a lot to my enjoyment of punting.
For me, if I left a shop, I would simply ask myself ' Did I enjoy that?' and answer either yes or no. If yes, I would then walk away happy. And I would answer yes, most of the time.
What I've realised is that for a lot of people who Are more 'sensible' with their money, they would ask the question ' was that worth the money I paid?'. Someone more careful with money would also expect a high level of service each and every time, and would review accordingly.
I would love to hear your thoughts on this. How much of a spendthrift are you ? (1-10). If you're moderate or miserly, does this effect your enjoyment of punting? Are you also strict in reading reviews etc before you go? etc
Thanks

You have raised the question of price versus value! Was value of the service worth the price. It doesn't have much to do with being spendthrift but rather expecting to receive service with the money you pay.

Yes, I understand.
But what I mean is that if you are a spendthrift or don't care about saving much, then actually you don't really care about price vs value!
What I mean is, a spendthrift only cares about whether he had a good time or not, but a normal person will care about whether the punt was actually worth the money.
If you focus on value, which perhaps you should be, then your approach to punting will be totally different!

I would consider myself in the saver category. And yes, I sometimes set myself up with unrealistic expectations, especially after reading some highly rated reviews either here or on other websites. This approach almost always results in disappointment.

I don't think punting and value for money go together. All punting is wasting your money on a sexual experience that at the end of the day leaves you with nothing but good memories and an empty wallet.
But........that is what I love to spend my money on and I will continue to do it as often as I can until it runs out. You only get one life and I want to spend mine frivolously throwing my money chasing and fucking Asian pussy. And why not. Sure beats gardening.....:cool2:
Today I did a one hour session with a great busty regular of mine and then in the second hour she brought her mate in and I fucked her, DATY'd both of them to orgasms as they both lied legs open on the bed, had them both sucking my cock bareback and shot my load over them, see my review in AR's.
What more could a man wish for ?

Punting isn't about money………….if it is? and if it is your focus? maybe you would be better off with bonds? stocks? or low and behold-Punting? on fucking horses……or Dildo races down a corrugated iron sheet about 3m long in a seedy pub in Darwin? But what would this Bastard know about anything?………………..

Mr Bastard and Punterman, both seem to have similar views but I beg to differ. Like anything you pay for, whether it be a good or a service, there's always a value attached to it. In the case of punting, you pay money and you receive good memories. So then the natural question is - are the memories worth the amount of money I paid for. So at the end of the day, it doesn't necessarily have to seen as "wasting money".

OK Longan, after every punt you have do you weigh up what it cost you financially?
Is that what it is about for you?
Geez? walk out of brothel…step, step, step, step, was that $300 dollars worth? of what? exactly?
Moneys gone pal….whatyagonnado?… tomorrow you will return and throw more money at it, what for? not to redeem the cash you threw at it yesterday, its not a poker machine or a horse race or a game of lotto, it don't reward you in dollars for your investment in it……..

Probably a real clever one Punterman, too clever for the likes of you and me and our paltry sums of income each year to even consider taking on our financial woes' or hoes'

Very true. You're not investing your money where you can get a return in the future or buying an item that you can use over an over again. You're paying for a service.
Would I have regrets at spending my money on punting? No way! You go in, choose a girl, pay up, have your fun with her and leave in an orderly fashion. If you're going to worry about whether it was worthwhile punting, then you're better off saving your money and masturbating at home. You'll save your money and there won't be a need for you to ponder the question 'was that worth the money I paid?'.
On the other hand, if you don't want to spend large sums of money whilst punting then choose shops where the prices are not high and read the AR's so you have an idea of which girl might be worth seeing. Hopefully, you won't be disappointed by the service provided nor will the price cost you an arm and leg. The prices do range which give you a choice where to punt. You can still receive good value for your money by punting at a shop that charges less than the ones that charge more. By paying more doesn't guarantee you will have the best service while paying less doesn't mean the worst service.

Punting is an investment in your sexual experience/capability/wisdom which may pay dividends when you get a chance to lay a classy chick for "free" :)

I agree with you and see your point of view. There is definitely a 'value' of sorts attached to it. Although as Punterman etc have pointed out, it's very difficult to quantify it, as it's a service, not a tangible item.
However, you are left with something that is real - a memory. The memory can be mediocre or can in fact be priceless.
Another thing is there is also a standard to compare it to - which is a) the price of other shops
b) Masturbating to porn for free!

Obviously you are the ultimate spendthrift Punterman! Can I see your punting bill for the year? Lol
But I agree with you, spending money on punting is one of the most fun and best ways to spend your money in your lifetime! Which is why I'm a punter in the first place!

Punting bill is running at close to $55k for the year. Not a cheap hobby but a good one.

Not bad. Smart budgeting. You could easily spend twice that much per year given the options around !
