Drove past this morning and the front door has been re-badged as the office for the smash repairer.

Unless they are only keeping the upstairs entrance and the smash repairer has taken the bottom floor I would say that they may have gone under.

Does anyone have any better intel?

Bit of a shame as my favourite shop as was a reasonable close 15min drive with a good selection most nights.

It's a money-making machine; They can't resist coming back, especially when the brand name is there.

It makes sense for them to let go of the venue because they would just be loosing money on rent.
I can already see the future when they will advertise it by saying "XYZ or ABC club run by Management of 42G".

The same owner started out with three shops. If it is true then the owner is down to one. 42g may have been leasing and decided to buy the premises outright.
42g may have owned the premises and sold it but remain as tenants.
42g may have owned the premises and sold it to move out.

AND so on. You get the idea. A sold sign on a commercial property doesn't mean the business has closed. Wait and see, all will be revealed soon enough.

Sorry, I was wrong, actually social distancing is already lifted off too, there's a new rule now. Unfortunately, the new rule is that we have to adhere to "1 person for every 4 square meter rule" and our place has only 500 square meter ish, so by law, unfortunately, we can only put like 100 girls maximum at a time LOL

joking aside, luckily the new law is based on total, like total square meters, not literally 1 person for 4 square meter. so yeah we have a max capacity of 100 people in the shop at any time, which is way more than we ever have anyway. Usually we have only like 40 people max at one time. Maybe the last crazy wild christmas party we had like 70 in the building and thats already the most ever.
