Almost one year after the legislation change - time for an interim assessment

It's been 11 month since the decriminalisation act came into effect.

What has changed - other than being able to openly talk about sexual services provided outside of 'licenced brothels' and not having to worry about raids anymore?

Personally, I think there might be more shops and MLs now, but not necessarily better quality. There definitely seems to be more turnover, and also quite a few people who think they can make a lot of easy and quick money without worrying too much about quality, training, value.
More competition and openness hasn't lead to more competitive pricing.

I'm still having the best sessions with MLs I've known since before August 2024...

If we want a scene that's similar to Sydney/NSW, WE are the ones who need to push for it. Reading through the threads in recent weeks, I'm not overly optimistic.

Sadly, the "extras" culture is ingrained in Brisbane. I don't see that changing anytime soon. That is why Sydney will always represent what we hope Brisbane could get to. To be honest not much has changed in my view.

One of the reasons I wanted to create a listing website was to help raise awareness about the number of quality AMPSs available. By categorizing and tiering these establishments, my hope is to save people from wasting money on substandard shops.
In cities like Sydney and Melbourne, punters are much more willing to share both positive and negative experiences, which helps maintain higher standards. Here, punters tend to only share the good, rarely the bad, which unfortunately allows mediocre MLs to continue without much accountability

My experience is Brisbane is better than Melbourne.

Melbourne CBD and inner 5-10km's is terrible, better as you go out a bit further. Far more places offer FS for around $150

Well, when you do post a negative review here, you're invariably told by some 'industry experts' that it's either your own fault you had that experience, or that you are a competing shop owner, that you are probably Indian, or haven't showered for a month.

I think you are correct.

I was hoping shops would offer a lot more "massage + extra" services like Sydney...

Saving punters/MLs needing to negotiate prices and not knowing what to expect, also works better with TTs during the massage, but of couse shops need to provide standardized training for everything to flow perfectly

I recon the issue is Brisbane is so used to being what it has always been. A punting wasteland. Since August last year there are next to no proper reviews and guys still won't put in details of what they got and for how much.
Try some of the other sites for reviews too but I think everyone needs to change the culture themselves.
I have moved from QLD and have found it easier to get punting info on other sites about even lets just say launnie lol. So i think its a culture change that must come from within. You will weed out the ordinary crap service as those ladies will see they need to provide a better service without all the extra bullshit charges or they will need to lower their prices by alot too get customers. It will also help if you are looking for full service to go see a private hooker and review.

Totally agree, the lack of real reviews in QLD just lets shops keep prices high and standards low. If more punters shared honest details, like they do in Melbourne, it’d force shops to lift their game and offer better value.

For any punters who may not be aware, this discussion should be considered within the context of Queensland's new laws.

If there are any concerns about providers being pressured to perform acts they are not comfortable with, this needs to be brought to light. It is illegal to coerce or blackmail a provider, and they have the absolute right to refuse any service. Anyone who witnesses or suspects this illegal behaviour is strongly encouraged to report it to the relevant authorities, as there are protections and official channels in place to handle these situations.

That being said, reviews are available that suggest at least some of the providers at this establishment do, offer at least some of the services being advertised.
