Put the win on separately to the place bet, with sportsbet got the 'win ticket as a refund' only had 50 on the place. Got $185 for the place @3.7.

Dear Demi is out of Dehere (Northern Dancer line crossing with Secretariat who had already sired a Cup winner in Kingston Rule), out of a Zabeel mare Shirley and the dam was Merlene (a Golden Slipper winner by Danhill also on the Northern Dancer line)!
She is 4 yr old mare, only has 51.5 kg in the Cup and has Chris Munce on who had already won the Cup on Jezabeel - another Zabeel mare.
But again, the significant thing is, Dear Demi is $26 with the TAB and $34 at Sportsbet. So got in early to have some value. The way I see it, after Saturday, she will tighten right up.
