I don't see any option but just calm down and wait for the test result. Do not get in the consultation room with your partner as you have to lie about something. The more lies you tell the harder you can make them perfect. Keep quite and say nothing but deny any cheating.
Doctor oftentimes scares people. Last time my partner saw doctor and doctor said she might have syphilis even it's just a pimple in an embarrassing place.
Anyway, the golden rule is, do not overreact.
your gf did blood tests only then not a proper test, you have to have a swab test
The doc said herpes but what if it isnt? Discomfort in urinating can mean many things. Gonorrhea, chlamydia, or even UTI which is not considered an STD. UTI women are more prone to it as their urethra is shorter than a males. I say don't worry too much but update us on whats happening. Maybe dont punt for a while :)
I would say sometimes a BBBJ, contact or a kiss will give you herpes so it's a hit and miss when you punt
...BBBJ and DATY are definitly not the same risk as catching genital herpes as vaginal and penile contact. The risk is much lower transmission that way. There are two strains of the virus, HSV-1 and HSV-2. HSV-2 has historically be more predominate in genital herpes and is more aggressive in that regard being transmitted "down there".
Although herpes is obviously very annoying and can be very painful/embarassing, it is definitely not the worst STI. Yes you have it forever, but other then the symptomatic blisters it causes...it really doesn't kill you or do much else. Unlike alot of the other ones that well...can kill you or cause infertility.
As well herpes does not present with urethritis, that is more classically presented in STIs like gonorrhea and chlamydia. Like many have said, you need to relax and get tested. Once you get confirmation results, you can decide on the next steps appropriately. Getting random scares or reassurances from strangers on the internet won't help.
On the pussy slide comment, herpes is best transmitted via direct contact with an active infection (a visible blister). So yes, it is high risk if you decide to pussy slide with a girl who's got active herpes.
Get a test and see what you can do from there
pussy slide best done wearing a condom
maybe your gf is a WL?
or is your name Quagmire?
In terms of Herpes, soldier76 is actually correct. BBBJ can pass on herpes. This is the same as gonorrhea.
I’m no angel but always do a quick check via visual inspection before doing anything with a WL (make sure they have no cold sores, spots on pussy, weird smells etc).

Amusing, but actually I have postgraduate qualifications (PhD) in biochemistry and molecular biology, and I'm much, much smarter than you. Try doing some background reading before assuming someone is stupid. You risk... looking stupid.
BBBJ/DATY are just as risky as BBFS for STD transmission for most intents and purposes for most STDs, and that's why sex health clinics advocate condoms and dams for everything. The reason why people aren't breaking out with STDs left/right and centre is that STDs are quite rare, approx 300 new cases reported each year per 10K people for the most common STDs (Chlamydia & Gonohorrea). Mouthwash may reduce the chance slightly but mouthwashes are 1) ineffective versus viruses, and 2) not actually very effective at killing bacteria either as the anti-bacterial agent is usually a quaternary ammonium-based antibiotic and most bacteria have long since become resistant to QACs.
If you are positive for HSV-1 and have no symptoms, the blood test result does not tell you whether you've got it in your mouth or gentiles. Most people got HSV-1 on the mouth, I think around 60% - 70% percent, they get it during childhood when being kissed by an adult or so, but not many have outbreaks.
If you did DATY with your girlfriend previously, you can say that you might have had a small cold sore at that time and didn't bother, it might of got transmitted that way to your girlfriend vagina.
I think this is the best excuse for you
Also, not everyone who contacts with Herps have an outbreak straight away, it might be possible that you or your girlfriend had it for months and years and just something triggered the outbreak recently, such as taking antibiotics or immune got weaken etc..
And, not everyones symptoms is the same, some peoples symptoms are very mild unnoticeable
Yea...BBBJ and DATY are definitely not the same risk. HSV-1 and HSV-2 are the ones that are going to give you genital herpes. Yea we can sit here and talk about the other strains like HHV8, but that doesn't give you genital herpes does it?
You are correct, traditionally HSV-1 presents in the mouth/lips but now the prevlance is roughly 50/50 on the lips/mouth and genitals between HSV-1/HSV-2 as oral sex has become such a common occurrence. In fact, most adolescents begin with oral sex before any penetrative sex.
You just be crazy if you think BBBJ/DATY has the same transmission risk for most STDs. That is...absolutely ridiculious. Certain STDs like herpes and pubic lice does have higher transmission rates but other STDs like HIV and gonorrhea have a much lower risk. Infact the transmission rate of HIV through recieving oral sex as a man is quite a confrontational subject, some studies shown such a low transmission rate, almost neligible (as noted by the CDC). Gonorrhea also yes can be transmisted by mouth but the rate is in the low single digits while female to male transmission of BBFS is about 40% per event.
While we're throwing around degrees, I guess I have an MD and I'm practicing
Ok so most of us love BBBJ I'm sure. Whats the likelihood of contracting any STD? Do you have statistics for different types of STDs transmitted via BBBJ from mouth to penis?
I ask because it is quite a serious topic and it seems to me that you know quite a bit :)
