Be really careful. I've had some mixed experiences with freelancers. Some might ghost you even after a booking for whatever reason. You can register an account from here before you go and line it up, I find that's better actually - a few days before you fly, line up the booking. Have to agree with this. I was in BKK recently and saw 5 Thai friendly girls.
Most were great!!
One I saw twice, one was hot but when she stripped had absolutely no boobs, one was hot but very transactional, one was hopeless I actually paid her to leave.
Agree about the chase at the bars. One night I went for a few drinks and enjoyed the chatting up and having a few drinks together but I didn’t bar fine her as I had a Thai friendly girl already lined up for that night.

Hey mate, If you are normally a RnT guy, I would HIGHLY recommend checking out Sukhumvit 24 Alley. Lookup Mangomassagebangkok.com for the specific location, however you don't have to go specifically there, as there are a cluster of shops on that little circular side alley, all of which offer Full Service. Price should be around 2200-3000 baht for 1 hour. For that you get part 3. I can confidently say that even if you are very particular, you will find something to your liking in this area. It really has top tier talent and very affordable prices.

They will shower with you, wash you, inspect you down there and then take you to the bed for business. The great thing about this alley, is you can check out what you like. Don't be afraid to walk in, they will parade the girls and you can choose one. If you don't see anything you like, smile and thank them, and politely walk back out. They won't be upset as long as you are polite about it.

Other people have recommended freelancers and having fun in your own hotel room is great, but you have to be careful. I find that they ask for money up front and then are often not very interested and non-service oriented after. Whereas, the massage shops tend to be a lot more friendly and enjoyable.

If, like me, you wake up early (timezone differences), and want some action, this is the only area that I have been able to get any. There are a couple of shops here that will open 8am or 9am. The selection will not be as good as other times, but when you feel the need....

Mango massage is a good place, if you just want a quick BJ, walk up the road to 7heaven, you get bbbj and CIM for 1500 bhat. last time I was there, I had two girls alternating BJ and I blew a load into the one mouth whist the second one sucked my balls.

Generally, good advice, and previously, a "pay before" request was a red flag on a "takeout". But from what I've heard, a number of providers are asking for money upfront, and it's not a rip. When a girl has insisted on "pay before", my solution has been a common one. Money laid on the coffee table, upstairs to the bedroom (I was a resident). Collectable after the entertainment was complete. And, the RARE instances it became an issue, and those were FEW and FAR between... back to the bar (I was a gentleman, she got the ride back to the bar, but didn't need any a/c, that's for sure).

Bottom line: IME, most all deliver what was agreed to. Get the menu, price, duration, time of departure, special requests agreed to before departing the bar. Doing that eliminates so many problems.

While I have been to Phuket many times, I don’t have lots of experience here. The shops that I went to gave nice surprises. Phuket is a good BYO place. I particularly liked Kata Beach for other reasons. They do have a lady bar area. Phuket and Phuket town have lots of action.

Phuket is great if you go south to Patong Beach. Bangla road used to be the best walking street in Thailand, although it's now become a lot more tourist like. Tiger club used to be amazing for picking up freelancers.
