Well, it's like if you go to a restaurant often, you become friendly with the owner. They do regard you as a sort of 'friend' aswell as their customer. Another analogy - do you consider your coworkers your friends? They are a sort of friend, but at the end of the day, they are your coworker foremost, unless you are hanging out with them outside work. We are a friend of sorts, but can't call ourselves a true friend unless we are hanging out with them outside the shop, no charge.

What if the WL go wiz u for a short destance travel, and ask u go to her friends' home for dinner together....

In that case, yes, I'd say she wants to be your friend. Why else would she invite you?

In simplistic terms, generally:

If you are middle aged and have nothing in common with her - she sees you as a punter

If you are young and or/ have things in common with her/ can connect with her - she sees you as a punter / friend

If you are young and or/ have things in common with her / can connect with her , and she sees you outside the shop - she sees you as a friend ( if also inside the shop then punter / friend)

If you are young and and or / have things in common with her / can connect with her , and are handsome / attractive otherwise - she sees you as a friend with benefits / sexual partner / punter (if also in the shop)

This is in simplistic terms what I would think would generally apply.

Of course, only a ML etc could truly answer this question

I would call it more of an acquaintance

definition: a person one knows slightly, but who is not a close friend.

A friend of mine has had relationships with a couple of WL's. He is married and it has complicated his life immensely. He is reasonably well off and the WL's he has these relationships with are at the end of their career so to speak. There has to be some ulterior motive in these WL'S actions. He plays along with it and gets the benefits of BBFS (if you consider that a benefit)...he gets a few freebies here and there and has even got gifts from WL'S for his birthday.

We both visit the same shop. We were working together one Saturday. I had arrived at work and got a call from him from the shop saying he will be late because he had extended with th WL. He called me from the room and i could here her giggling in the background. I said 'say hi to xxx for me'. He showed up later on and was showing me a whatsapp chat he was having with her. She had told the WL i had been visiting what happened and she wanted my number. I passed it on and not long after i had got a message from her saying 'hi i am xxx remeber me? When you come see me'.

I have been pretty much been punting with her since. I have seen 2 other WL's in that time, one was in Melbourne. Whilst we do know a bit about each other on a personal level, she is really only treating me as a regular customer. She is really only interested in when I am coming to see her next. I like her service but now i have seen her 7 or 8 times the excitment is waning a little. It is time to move on and find another WL.

In response to the Ops initial question 'are we friends or customers' i say we are customers first. We may get to a level of friendship of sorts but do you really want that from the WL you are seeing? It can complicate your life even more than just hiding a puntimg habit and if it does go to the next level with a WL, what are they seeking from the arrangement?

Recently, I came across two WLs in the city. I have seen both girls a few times because they were always friendly and chatty during our sessions. Guess what? They ignored me! To answer the question again. We are CUSTOMERS and not friends !!!!!!!!!!!!!

She offers to pay and does pay for her drinks or my food. Even offered to pay for my taxi/uber home lol.

Many WLs will outright ignore customers when they see them in the street. They are very scared that you will mention the shop and others will find out their secret.

It's their standard MO, don't take it personally. If they were to start talking to you, you might mention the shop, and a passer by might overhear, whom They know.

Once I saw a ML in the street, and the next day I visited her shop and booked her in for a session. I told her I'd seen her, and she said I should have come over and said hello! That was odd.
