Many WLs will outright ignore customers when they see them in the street. They are very scared that you will mention the shop and others will find out their secret.

In my case, both girls were from the same shop and knew each other. No secret between them. LOL

It's their standard MO, don't take it personally. If they were to start talking to you, you might mention the shop, and a passer by might overhear, whom They know.

Once I saw a ML in the street, and the next day I visited her shop and booked her in for a session. I told her I'd seen her, and she said I should have come over and said hello! That was odd.

Although I was thinking of this topic today. A shop owner always acts like a friend to me. He then asked if I was married, and I told him no, cause I'd give up punting after marriage.
